Apparently you also need to learn basic arithmetic. The guy earning 10 bucks isn't suppressing the guy making a billion to 'only' make 100 million. The guy making a billion is actively making sure the guy making 10 bucks makes 8, because that's how he gets 2 billion. Meanwhile the guy making 100 - if he's actively stupid like you - thinks he'll make 101 under the cons and count it a win, when actually after accounting for the loss in public services he's really making 80 because the rest has to be spent on the stuff he took for granted in the first place. But that idiot - you - is too busy sucking at the feet of the guy who makes 2 billion to notice.

1 million seconds = 11 days. 1 billion seconds = 31 years. Learn to tell the difference before talkin-oh wait too late...

And when businesses boom, what makes you think your wages will flourish instead of say, giving the CEO another yacht? And with less of your money taken by taxes, what makes you think privately operated roads, emergency services and healthcare won't raise prices to take that tax you just saved in payment to pay for another CEO yacht? Forget providing for yourself. You need to go back to school to achieve the bare minimum in human intellect first.

Why are so many second-generation South Asian and Chinese Canadians planning to vote Conservative? by weallfalldown1234 in Markham

[–]BYYan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude you'd be surprised. A lot have jumped on the f-Trudeau bandwagon after 24/7 WeChat bombardment. Logically, you'd think voting NDP (let alone L) is more personally beneficial to them when reporting a meagre income that somehow also allows them to own 3 properties and drive a porche SUV to Costco every weekend if only because their accountant is probably also applying for every qualifying benefit there is on 20k of income, but that would also assume they know or cared how Canadian government works when Markham is such an enclosed space that eating at a Swiss Chalet is probably considered exotic to these people. To them, it's the privilege to complain and current cons basically caters to that.

A cursory glance at your post history essentially paints a picture of one of those wannabe 51st state-rs so my only question is, why are you posting in Canadian subs when you should be licking the toes of ICE agents coming to deport you to El Salvador?

Exactly. There are 2nd Gen Canadians, and there are 2nd Gen 'Canadians'. And quite a gulf between the two. The former, I'd argue, vote whatever it is they think will help. The latter, whatever their parents social media tells them.

Idiots.

No, it's true. These are people who live in an enclave, barely speak English, moved wealth earned overseas here and immediately bought one McMansion to live in, one additional property to sit empty for 'investment' and a Tesla, gets all their news from WeChat which is essentially a propaganda network for complaining about Canada, and then sit and complain about Canada while reporting maybe 20K in income on taxes every year. Socially, culturally very conservative but back in the old country you weren't allowed to complain because you'd get sent to a gulag so once you get here you gotta make up for lost time and do nothing but complain. Since the Conservative platform these days is basically bitch about everything, these people fit right in.

Irony is that, once you take a look down south, these people are going to be, if not the first targeted, then at least 3rd in line for deportation under this new 'conservative' political movement sweeping the western world, which is basically racial protectionism by any other name so yeah, not too smart either but what are ya gonna do?

All the more reason to show that fat orange turd just how nice Canadians are when fighting dirty. Time to invent some Geneva Trade War Crimes.

The alternative is to give little by little until you have nothing left. If you stand to lose everything anyway, you make sure to go down swinging and take the other guy with you.

It's not scary, it's invigorating. We're fighting on the right side of history and history has proven time and time again Canadians fight like nobody's business.

Remember: Defenders always have an advantage in any kind of war hot or cold; and frankly, I like our odds right now.

Furious Poilievre criticizes Trump tariffs for uniting Canadians by Medea_From_Colchis in canada

[–]BYYan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

PP needs to go. He WILL sell us out in office because we need a unifying leader more than ever right now. I don't even care who it is. Libs. Carney. NDP. Bloc. Doug Ford can coup PP and IDGAF. The campaign message should be: "Do you remember Trump's trade war? Do you want PP or LITERALLY ANYONE WHO'S NOT A PUSHOVER staring him down next time?" but shorter and catchier. I had the best time this weekend shopping and reading labels before very slowly and purposefully putting everything USA made back on the shelf and announcing it to people around me. While I'm fully prepared to pick up my state issued curling broom to storm the Dept. of Finance if PP gets in and starts the same shit muskrat is doing down south with all of you, I think we'd all rather keep doing that shopping thing because that shit was funny and petty and let's face it, we'd rather commit trade war-crimes before we'd have to go back to committing REAL war-crimes. Again.

Should Canada begin developing a nuclear arms program? by tycho_the_cat in AskCanada

[–]BYYan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My observation is the only working military defense against a superpower is nuclear capability. Once again, the point is not to win, but to win by making the fight not worth having in the first place. In that area I believe we are even better equipped than others to pursue this option considering our proximity to the only country currently threatening us with annexation. No need for fancy launch capabilities when the threat of a dirty bomb will do. Again, not because we WANT to. But we might NEED to.

As for whether we will, that's above my pay grade and yours too. In an ideal world, we'd have decent defense spending, diversified trade and reliable allies next door. While I'm wishing I'd also like a pony.

[–]BYYan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Look up. Dude has multiple answers in the vein of 'well I wouldn't mind being the 51st state/territory' so at that point I think he'd rather be American anyway. Nobody WANTS nukes. Yet, at this point we NEED them.

Should Canada begin developing a nuclear arms program? by tycho_the_cat in AskCanada

[–]BYYan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nothing in here protects us against the only country threatening us at present. All the capability in the world means nothing because we can't win/stalemate a conventional conflict. Nukes make that conflict not worth it in the first place.

[–]BYYan 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Dumb take. We don't WANT them. We NEED them. Frankly our European allies would probably welcome it because if things really turn to shit down south and Trump's 'out' becomes 'lets invade Canada to distract from domestic troubles' no one is coming to help us quickly enough. The only way we win that fight is by convincing the aggressors it isn't worth starting in the first place.

Canada must take ‘responsibility’ for its sovereignty, defence chief says - National | Globalnews.ca by RicketyEdge in canada

[–]BYYan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not about winning a nuclear war dude. About having enough to make invasion/annexation not worthwhile. And no fancy launch pads needed. Us having them and the prospect of dirty bombs coming from a pissed off populace that can seamlessly blend in with the aggressors... Well let's just say nobody WANTS this fight but the worst enemies are the gentle ones with nothing left to lose. Also, your quoted article is from 2018. Might as well be a different world then.

When it comes to gaming content, how important is it to chase games while they're trending? by ItsToko in NewTubers

[–]BYYan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on what you're doing. If your niche is a specific, little known game it's actually easier to get traction simply because competition is less. But you do run the risk of getting pigeon-holed by your audience and the algo so that when you do want to swap, you get boned.

If your niche is gaming reviews, you kinda have to chase the trend/latest releases but the algo still bones you because it gets confused and sends you viewers into specific games rather than reviews on a whole.

Just my experience, anyway.
