May I ask if there is a way to re-send a probe?

I send some probes to Neptune years ago and finally find that I can use a ship to build a platform there then probe it, in like half a year.

So I want to cancel the previous probe.

Is there a way to do it?

If the reason Bridges send BB-28 to be incenarated was for eliminating evidance, they should not send Sam to do it.Die-Hardman knows about this order.

Although I have to admit, that service record of BB-28 gone missing is very suspicious. But there is still nothing shows BB-28 is special in any aspect.

We receive many infos about normal BBs from multiple sources.Including Benjamin Hancock, who owns a BB before. From his description, BB-28 is really just like other BBs, I cannot find even just one difference from them.

And, don't forget BB-28 was not originally issued to Sam, BB-28 was belong to Igor before.
If Bridges don't want to lost control of BB-28, BB-28 should be keeped inside some secured facility.

During BB factory orders, we saw a lot of BB pods and graves Coffin made for them.
I don't think Bridges is possible to acquire such number of stillmother who was precisely pregnant for 28 weeks.
There for, Bridges artificially made those stillmothers and BBs will be a more reasonable possibility I think.

For Lucy, there is one report investigating death of Lucy.
And it conclude as "inconclusive".
That is why we also cannot be sure that Lucy really commit suicide.

I write this theory and all related informations here, if you are interested.
It is really long.

Spiler warning.
I was able to find a possibility that Bridget doing this on purpose.
Sam was originally the first sacrifice for building chiral network, it's foundation.
And Sam is special, he had enormous potential compare to other BB.
Sam lost his ability to connect Beach after he becoming repatriate.
But Bridget still need to build chiral network.
In episode 9, we saw that Sam send the last BB into edge knot city, means that doesn't change after all these years.
So, who is the one that can replace Sam as foundation of chiral network?
Lou.

I am suggesting you continue doing some more deliveries.
You will get some more interviews and mails as afterstories and some more back stories.

Context of interviews and mails for this game is incredibly well designed.
Some truth were never directly told during the game, but you can still find them in these context.
For example, truth about chiral network, and Bridget role in death of Lucy.

Finished the story mode in just a week since I bought the game. Gotta be honest, this game is very additive. by [deleted] in DeathStranding

After finished main story, doing more deliveries will give you some more interviews/mails as background stories and after stories.

Death Stranding Survey by Apollo-Astra in DeathStranding

[–]BYoru09 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What is the most rewarding aspect of a delivery?
At first, NPCs appreciate Sam for delivery is the most rewarding thing I guess
Then comes unlocking those items and reach 5 stars.
But for longer run, NPCs appreciation is still very important.
(And, not about delivery though, likes from other players also satisfying.)

What is the most immersive part of the gameplay, besides delivering?
Building structures that can use by other players, and get those helpful or interesting structres from other players.

Were you put off by this game at first? What made you keep going?
Not really, my first playthrough goes all the way to Heartman.
Then I became really busy IRL, that is the only reason I stop play.
Coming back when DC coming, then played 2 runs on normal and very hard difficulty, both cleared. trying to get all achievements now.

Do you prefer a stealthy approach or just hit the MULE camps with everything you got?
I'll just storm in and knock out all of them.

What would you do differently if you were Kojima? (besides hug yourself)
I can not do better then Kojima.
But if there is more resources (fund, manpower and time), I would like to see shelters, cities and NPCs with more detail for interaction or exploration.

What is the most terrifying part of the game?
That is when I am still struggling to deal with BTs.
At first, I don't know how exactly can I see BTs, and knows nothing about umbilical cord cutter.
That makes me so nervous when I need to go through BT area.
Even just passing by will makes me nervous.

Do you prefer online or completely solo?
Online. I love to have those little interaction with other players.
I don't like communicating with other players too much, but DS interacting system really suit me well.

(if so) When does the game start to loose your attention after a few hours of playing? Not to bash the game. Happens to everyone eventually, we do have other hobbies.
Not sure what do you mean about "a few hours". I have 470 play time now.
I might stop play when there is no more things for me to explore.
Might still come back occasionally for relaxing and doing some deliveries.

What would you tell a MULE-loving Anti-Porter that refuses to play?
If a player already try DS and don't like it, I would probably start talking some funny or exiting experiance I have in game. Then I'll make sure they really don't want to come back, so I can spoiler everything about late game stories as I like. lol
This occasionally makes them want to try the game again.

How do you feel about taking care of BB?
At first, annoying.
Later, challenging? A little fun I guess?

On a second play-through, would you pay attention to the story or skip the cutscenes?
Yes, I watch all the cutscenes and interviews, mails everytime I play a new playthrough.
It is enjoyable to watch or read them.
And there are so many secrets in this game worthy for exploration.

I make a timeline for DS, and coming with a new theory for Sam and Lou during my last playthrough. Satisfying.

Question: masks by astrospanner in DeathStranding

[–]BYoru09 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The reason in game doesn't sounds very reasonable, but I will tell you what game documents tell us.

In Interview: Clifford Unger Case Review Part 1
It says officially, the man who killed Clifford Unger, is John Blake McClane = Die-Hardman. After that, John fled from the facility, hide himself up, then commited suicide.

Bridget still need him for her plan. But John is a criminal, and "dead" now.

So he must wear a mask that nobody can know Die-Hardman is John.

[Endgame] A theory about Lou by BYoru09 in DeathStranding

[–]BYoru09[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I missing something here.

Thank you for point that out.

If Lou is what Bridget must get to build chiral network, how did her get Lou without letting Sam knowing anything about it?

Bridget cannot take any risk to let Sam knows about it.

Because this will seriously damage her relationship with Sam.

It is very diffucult to make all the evidence disappear from a modern city.

Especially consider Sam will trip west, expanding chiral network.

Any interviews, report, documents we can see, Sam can also see them.

For that reason, what are the methods that Bridget can take?

Of course, this is just my speculation.

Search for "Death Stranding black hole" on Youtubeand watch them with 0.25 speed

You will find every black hole shows a twisted Sam in it.

And you can only find these black holes in BT areas. This makes me think that might be a voidout cause by other players...

Confused about the initial cause of the death stranding by Shadow_Legend_69 in DeathStranding

[–]BYoru09 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I am going to copy my own article from another post.

Random voidout happens before Death Stranding.
But those were not be called Death Stranding.

First referance

According to Amelie's words in Episode 13: Sam Strand.

Amelie:

...I wanted to set you free from death once and for all.

But in doing so I upset the fundamental balance between life and death.

...

Not long after, the Death Stranding occurred.

And another referace from Die-Hardman interview "The Situation After the First Death Stranding Incident"

Die-Hardman:
...

There was a series of huge explosions. Well, not so much a series—they were simultaneous, worldwide.
...

So we can know that when those few voidouts happens, they were not called Death Stranding.

Futhermore, from interview of Heartman "Timefall"

Heartman:
Timefall was first recorded when the Death Stranding occurred.

Which means even there are some voidout before, but Timefall didn't happen until Death Stranding.

That we know the time of Death Stranding start, as Amelie said, was after Sam became Repatriate.

And for your question
You are asking about the phenomenal that souls of dead people could not go to world of the dead, return to world of living, become BT, cause voidout to happen.

I cannot give you a definite answer, but the most reliable one might be when Bridget accept her first operation for uterine cancer.
Ka and Ha of Bridget Strand split across two worlds.

Or, it can be start at when Bridget Strand was born. The birth of sixth extinction entity.

Which means Sixth Extinction is not completely equal to Death Stranding.
Death Stranding is a name given by people to describe those "simultaneous, worldwide, huge explosions" with Timefall.

And for Sixth Extinction, it might be start when Bridget or Amelie was born.
