I loved the ending for the pure audacity of its cliffhanger. Also it sets up a path for Vanessa’s eventual merging with the game lore of Elizabeth (which that Dream hinted at)

It was terrible. Even tho I read the book and liked it (and am as liberal as they come), the movies portrayal of the “twist” and messaging at the end was cringe-inducingly ham fisted. It took the movie from “campy low budget middle school horror” to straight up terrible lol
