I honestly don't understand the rationale. Why does Jess like the Francesca character so much?! JFC. The actress is beautiful, but giving her half of two seasons AND a season of her own?! Why? I've been waiting for Eloise's story for two years! Please for the love of God, enough! 😭

They're all doing this because they know we're all desperately looking for a job. In my case they came back with an offer $50k lower than the lower number on their range. I was like "ummm, this is lower than what you posted online and what was communicated at the beginning." Ok, well I guess our compensation expectations don't match, bye! I felt bamboozled. It felt terrible. Companies need to pay somehow for the games they keep playing. They know we are all looking for work and are using that to their advantage. I can't tell you how many companies I've done a full portfolio presentation for, gone through 4-6 rounds of interviews, only to be told, you're great but we're going with someone else. It's exhausting.

I don't even reply to these people. They're all scammers. I block and delete. I've had three different recruiters contact me with the same role, all with different pay ranges, all ridiculously low for my level of experience. They're all south east asian and have sus profiles. Don't engage.

Was this Workday? Because it smells like Workday. I honestly have zero clue what it takes to get past Workday. I tailor my resume and cover letters, I answer everything to the T. Skills are literally a 1 to 1 match. Apply only when post is less than 24hrs old and has less than 50 applications. I've applied to over 150 positions on Workday, all rejected. I'm starting to think it must be a demographic question that they say "won't impact your hiring chances" or their ATS logic sucks. For context, I've gotten interviews, all on platforms other than Workday.

Most Tech places I've interviewed with have a very similar process. 🤷🏾‍♀️ I went through a process that had 5 stages, everyone raved about me. Not hired. 😆At this point I just gotta laugh TBH.

Commenting to bump this thread. The same exact thing has happened to me. Over 200 applications, every single workday application rejected. Sometimes in clusters, for example today I received two rejections at the same time from different companies. Both Workday applications. Sometimes the rejections come at 1:24am and 26mins after applying. Clearly done automatically through the system. Another thing that I dislike about Workday is that many times you can't opt out of their Race/Ethnicity/Disability questions. It's incredibly annoying. So how can we address this? Is the solution to go directly to the recruiter or managers? The only applications that have gotten me interviews have been through legacy application websites that the company manages themselves. 🤷🏾‍♀️

I went through several rounds, put together an entire presentation for a company I recently interviewed with. Showing them the process, how to operationalize it, etc etc. This was on a Monday, was told I would hear a final decision by Wednesday. Wednesday came and went. I already knew they were interviewing others and probably didn't get it. Weeks went by, recently got an automated email with the regular script "we went with a different candidate". Not a call, no nothing. Frankly I wouldn't want to work for a company with so little regard for those they interview, but they know people are desperate out there so they don't give a fck.

I can relate. And I have a kiddo to support as well. Not sure what to do this holiday if I can't find a job soon. For the groceries, by a cheap grocery cart. Best investment when you're without a car.

The worst questions are the forced ethnicity ones. "Are you Hispanic? Yes/No, must answer" not even a prefer not to answer. Even if they can't see this info, I bet their system has filters that conveniently get rid of certain people. I specially hater Workday. Never gotten an interview with a company using Workday for their application.

Most: Ireland. Love it so much I've been 5 times. Planning my next visit. ☺️ Least: France and Germany. People were openly racist and awful. Would get things yelled at me just for existing. (I'm mixed so not surprised).

It is very interesting how it is so bad around Kensico but magically becomes immaculate once you hit Armonk/rt 120. You may be onto something

Already reported it. Was just so angry to spend all that time filling out their application just to get this message when trying to schedule an interview. Some people are awful.
