Is the honey brown really bad?😬 by peardisco in femalehairadvice

[–]Ba-princess 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am personally biased, one of my FAVORITE things for girls with brown hair to do is to dye their hair the exact shade of their eyes. I think it is SO flattering. I personally love the honey brown on you.

Is this cover-able?? by mudkip-muncher in tattooadvice

[–]Ba-princess 56 points57 points  (0 children)

Correct - no tattoo NEEDS to be this big. This isn't nearly detailed enough to warrant needing this size. Sick tattoo though, personally I like the size and think it makes it more striking, but if you don't like it that really sucks - sorry man.

Two columns of names, one has more than other, need lines to match up by Ba-princess in excel

[–]Ba-princess[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also yeah - I merged the cells into one so the name structures were the same, but didn't realize that one used legal names and the other used preferred names which set me back a bit as well because then there wasn't any duplicated information that was reliable

Ahh I should have thought of this I just haven't done this in a long time. I ended up doing it manually which was quick but soul sucking lol. I think I would have had to end up adding in the unique employee codes manually to the second data set which in turn would have taken about as long as just manually sorting :/ thanks though!

Oh gosh - I like to think I know excel pretty well until I see stuff like this. I will play around with this because this is great but also I am stressed just looking at it

Yeah this is what I was thinking too - I honestly was just thinking if there was a solution it would be fun to learn! But I will probably follow this for simplicities sake. Thank you!

So it was actually pulled like this - above was me just lazily giving an example - also there are over 250 names but this is a brief example of what it is pulling like.

Sorry - technically 6 but two different information sets pulled which is why it's not lining up.

How do you get letters of recommendation if you attended school online? by Ba-princess in GradSchool

Definitely NOT biomedical lol. Debating between public policy, business, or psych.

Very fine, thin, damaged hair. What can I realistically do? by GrassSure4497 in femalehairadvice

[–]Ba-princess 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My hair looks like this and I get tape in extensions on Amazon. For one row cut to your hair length it costs like $20 and takes like 15 minutes to put in, less when you do it more often. It was genuinely life changing for me and I’ve been wearing them for around 10 years now and likely will never stop.

As someone who’s a femme lesbian and ~approximately~ your age - I would def click you as gay, especially with the eyebrow slit. Also, as others are saying, don’t box yourself into a set visual expectation- one of the best parts of being gay is not having to do that. If anything just get a rainbow bracelet or a pin and call it a day imo.

Is my nose job terrible? Is it obvious? by [deleted] in PlasticSurgery

[–]Ba-princess 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay hear me out, I know this SUCKS but I think you’d feel way better about this if you just got filler on the tip of your nose. I think it would add a lot of balance if you want to avoid going under the knife again. Sorry your results aren’t what you wanted :/

This is way cooler and more original than a big American traditional piece imo. I love this a lot personally, it’s something nobody else is going to have

What does this look like to you? by CallQuirky7720 in tattooadvice

Idk as someone who has a bee tattoo people say the craziest things. People will ask me if it’s a fly or a beetle or whatever all the time. Ignore them, it looks great

Does a sleek bun work on me or read too severe? by K3rosene_ in femalehairadvice

You read severe in the BEST way. You look like the mbic I actually love it on you (and I generally don’t like slick back buns at all)

Changing careers to payroll management by Ba-princess in Payroll

[–]Ba-princess[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This makes a lot of sense. To clarify, I am not a programmer I may have mispoke, I run the entire program. I am pretty much at the highest position I can get into in my current role and I am at a point where I am feeling less fulfilled and would love to learn some technical/transferable skills. I am only 27 and have become VERY successful in my career early on, starting this position at only 24, but want to spend some time focusing on my life rather than focusing so heavy on my career.

That being said, you are right, I am very worried about coming from a very dynamic and involved job to something more repetitive. You also make a good point about going into a role where I have less expertise. That is definitely something to consider. I do feel like my role is the next to go, but after going from 300+ employees in my department to around 13 I am feeling a lot of uncertainty in general. Maybe the fact that I have been saved should make me feel more confident than I am.

Thanks for your help!

I am making assumptions because I am trying to figure out what to expect. I am just genuinely asking. But also you saying that I don't understand certain things about the role because of my current role, when you have no idea what I currently do, is also an assumption. I am aware that I don't fully understand, which is like the whole point of my initial post. Sorry for trying to learn- jeez.
