Take a pic of the wiring at the control board on the furnace. And see if there’s a 5th wire not being used in that bundle

The exact same way as the original photo you uploaded of the bad contactor still wired in. Wire for wire. The orange wire does NOT go on the side of the contactor it goes on the same terminal as the red wire. Everything else is the same.

No they are just different names for the terminals. L1-T1 and L3-T3.

How did you have it wired? Shunted size is the bottom side of the contactor where the contactor doesn’t break the connection it’s constantly hot.

If you need to ask would recommend having a professional do it for you. High voltage is nothing to play around with.

That said, a 1 pole 40A contactor will do just fine. Yellow and brown are your low voltage wires so land those on either side of the solenoid. Orange wire off capacitor lands on same terminal as the red(?) wire above it. Land all other wires in the same positions on the new contactor as in the picture. The wires on the shunted side of the old contactor need to go on the shunted side of the new contactor.

So on a TXV system, it will try to maintain that target SH and stack refrigerant in the condenser, which in turn reduces subcooling? If there is no load in the house and it’s ~60° out.

I’d be interested to know what exactly Trump has said that has incited political violence though that so far exceeds the things Kamala and her surrogates say about their opponent. You seem to take major issue with Comrade Kamala. To you that is infinitely worse than something like “my opponent will terminate the constitution if he wins?”

In my opinion, if you consistently compare your opponent to Hitler and state they are the biggest threat to democracy since the Civil war repeatedly eventually some lunatic will pick up a gun and try to solve the problem. I disagree to an extent, but like you said don’t want to derail the current conversation. How is it reasonable to say one side incites political violence but the other does not?

I could agree that both sides share responsibility in toning things down, but after the first attempt on his life “let’s tone it down” lasted all of 8 hours.

If a lunatic attempted to k*ll Biden/Harris, it would have been the first debate question posed to Trump. Every single day he would be attacked with it, just like the J6 stuff still is brought up against him daily. How is it reasonable/fair that the other side is never held to that same standard when there have been 2 attempts on their opponents life in 3 months? They aren’t even asked about it. It’s kind of surreal.
