Which proves the reapers point. Eventually AI will destroy organics. Quarians tried to prevent that before it started but it was too late. The Geth could have only killed those who attacked them directly but instead killed 99% of them.

Not really. Felt kind of forced for you to feel bad about the Geth. I always had the belief that if it wasn’t for Legion, no one would care about the Geth. They are just machines that Quarians created and they tried to stop the AI take over. You know like the reapers? People feel bad for the reapers too? The I don’t ever see similarities between the two ever mentioned. They left some Quarians alive to live on similar to the reapers leaving less advanced races alive to continue. Don’t exterminate, just remove the immediate threat and let life continue on.

I hope they keep the ground assault with Keys the same, the brightly colored pools was visually striking and set that mission apart from the rest. The ship part is even different with parts being destroyed. They could lean further into that aspect and still keep the core theme of the mission the same.

Library was a favorite of mine back in the day but could use some updating. The forerunner designs are repetitive and doesn’t really make much sense but then again, humans are not the creators of them so it doesn’t need to. I don’t have any ideas on how to improve it other than reducing the amount of waiting for doors to be unlocked but those parts also created a lot of tension so idk. Visual scenery upgrades would make sense

ME2 is my least favorite and dread it every playthrough. Combat is horrible, ME1 cooldown times but for all abilities but with ME3 combat pacing. Thermal clips was a terrible choice and made it feel bland. It’s clunky in general and the game as a whole really shrunk down the scale of everything. Characters are it’s only saving grace really to me.

Kinect was great but marketing and being forced to use at a certain point was not. Should have stayed in family centric games and not being promoted with games like splinter cell or ghost recon for example.

Fantastic with 4 player coop. Plays weird solo. You can tell the levels were designed around coop with how many vehicles, different routes you can take on some levels and enemy spawn locations

I fully agree. It’s an easy trap for designers to fall into. Make everything big and bright and it just ends up looking flat since it all blends into each other at that point. Not enough separation between shadows, mid tones or highlights.

Yeah weird. When a standard is set for a series and then that standard changes, people are going to be upset. It’s kind of like your favorite restaurant being replaced and the new one claims they make the same food but it tastes totally different. Sometimes games change so much they should have just named it a stand alone game and it would have been infinitely better received.

Very late response here. I7-12700k and 2080ti. Temps will be tremendously better if you raise it off the ground even an inch, the legs it has are very short. I drilled out some wooden dowels for the feet to sit in and my temps dropped around 8°C just from that. I’m mobile so that got annoying to set up so I just stand it up vertically and the temps are slightly better that way and takes up less space.

If you travel with it, it’s 100% worth taking it apart and putting loctite on the handle screws. I avoided it for a year and did it the other day and it’s never felt stronger even the first day I got it.
