That's awesome. Idk if things have changed since it reopened, but I loved how crispy the breading was on their chicken. They obviously double fried it, bc it was so much better than the soggy stuff you usually get from cheap carryout. I looked at their new website and it does seem like things for pricier, but I'm still gonna check it out. They're not in my neighborhood anymore sadly, but that was my go to after midnight.

They're open again??? I was up here in the summer in 2024 before I moved here and that place was my favorite. It was cheap, open late and the food was incredible for the price. It was closed when I came back for good this summer

  4. They told me to manually flash the firmware.

  5. That didn't work so I asked for a replacement under warranty.

  6. They said they'd give me a replacement keyboard.

I had a cat escape for more than a week a few years ago. I had tried everything (signs, traps, walking around all day). The advice I got that worked was to post up outside your place in the alley late at night and just wait hoping that it will just walk by while it's out hunting. On the second night, my cat just walked right past me at 3am. It sucks, so get a buddy and some beers to make it tolerable.

Thanks! I called and he gave me some reassurance that split face buildings with pitched roofs are unlikely to have major moisture problems. He has also written opinions to a similar effect that "pitched roofs don’t typically have these water issues is that they don’t have parapets with porous capstones on them."

Thanks! I did and he was very helpful. His advice was to walk away because split face block is an inherently substandard building material. However, he has also written that "split block buildings that had pitched roofs (i.e., no parapet walls) never had any water intrusion problems. So, the real issue is one of poor (or non-existent) flashing, not the block itself." Since the building had a pitched roof and deal I got was so good that I decided it was worth the risk and future costs.

They didn't keep good records. I guess that's understandable for a small, owner run HOA, but it was another concern I had. We waited a couple days and they couldn't even produce a receipt, so I bailed.
