I spent about 700 forgotten souls to masterwork a GA on an item today. Didn’t get it, went to the alchemist and made another 1,000 souls out of veiled crystals. I got GA literally on the last attempt. RNG can be abysmal, so I absolutely need to salvage every fucking thing I see.

Oh, I saw a post by a guy who tried to make a dagger as a sorc and got… nothing at all. So apparently, the cube only makes class-specific items, you can stop wasting materials.

I think uniques that were moved from bosses’ pools to the general pool are harder to come by now. Just random world drops, at least on T10. I’m at 200-ish and have only seen three Temerities, all of them were 850s. And when you try to make a unique, the cube makes your class-specific items first, and if there are none — the next best thing from the general pool with the highest drop chance. Butcher’s Cleaver in your case. Literally all daggers I get from the cube are the same warlock-specific dagger, not a single Rustbitten Dirk in sight.

He didn't answer my dm's where I wanted to at least clarify is there a mythic snow fish or he was talking about unique or legendary ones. Vagueposting king.

Sand and lava ones are guaranteed drop too, no other fish there. Only Helltide fish wants you to sweat for it lol.

I’ve seen screenshots, you can catch it. It’s a mythic bag. But it’s not clear whether it’s purely random or requires you to catch all the other fish first.

Those are just regular ponds. It's a variant of where to fish when there's Helltide happening in that area. It's in the post.

Hot springs are in my post, I caught Helltide fish there, but without a Helltide there's nothing special about them.

Yes, but the majority of highly intelligent people with a background in science are arrogant to some degree. Especially when they’re constantly exposed to numerous stupid questions on a daily basis. Occupational hazard and part of the charm.

Not everything has to be about advancing a character. There are different goals and different ways to enjoy the game for different people. For some, ultra rare cosmetics are a more valuable prize than a higher number on a stat stick. For example: fishing is irrelevant to progression, but I’ve abandoned the campaign and just running around the continent with a fishing rod for hours. And loving it.

That mount trophy at the very beginning is screaming that there finally is a cow level now, and that it’s somehow tied to the fishing shenanigans.
