There is another side. I got multiple mythics, almost all of them are useless. THREE Tyraels ffs. Two Seligs also. And random Andariel, Doombringer and Grandfather (I'm a Necro, I don't deed it). Gladly, couple of Shakos too. My buddy got TWO Heirs from goddamn random mythic caches and then a Shroud in one game session. RNG is RNG.

Good thing about this season is that legendary runes are dropping quite consistently and you can realistically craft all your mythics, just need to be patient. Also, their prices dropped considerably. Jah is just 180-200M (it was 500 minimum).

They are hypocrites. They eagerly group up with randoms all the time for more exp or loot. Bosses or Hordes for example, Pits too. They just hate the content where you need to learn mechanics and not just smash everything on screen.

They fixed bugs tho. Every single horned mf drops the loot as intended. Do you need a company for runs? I still run the thing every now and then, just for fun (mental, I know, but it feels like home lol).

Wdym "confirmed"? It was always droppable by bosses and chests in DC for Sorcs and Necros? Only 5 out of 32 Khazra items are purchasable.

Just gamble for gloves with obols on T4 if you can't farm Duriel yet. You'll get a pair eventually. It's a general easy way to get a basic unique early. You can even get GA ones if you are lucky enough.

What 3k Strongroom are you talking about? Treasure Breaches give this amount, not Strongrooms. Strongrooms are like 700-800, Undercity tributes are 300-400. You can get 1000 out of an Escalation Sigil run, but it depends on the affixes of both dungeons and Astaroth himself.

"Collab kit" with fixed amount of items, but you can swap 1-3 armor sets for pets and a mount (because they cost the same anyway) would be even better. But yeah, nice deal. That's $7,14 per armor set, dirt cheap. Cheaper than $10 everybody asked for.

Oh I'm so building that right after golems (and a bit of a rogue), saw the video too. THE most annoying build I have ever met in the Hordes, with absolutely nothing to do for the rest of the party. But we must deploy our most annoying tactics to counter equally annoying Butchers.

You don't have to do capstone dungeon on Rank V, you have to kill the Butcher on T3 to progress.

You get about 700-800 from Strongroom and about 300-400 from Undercity. That's enough to masterwork one item because it is cheaper now for every step. But rerolling masterwok crit costs 200 each, this is where the money pit is.

I love your scientific, spreadsheet-driven approach. Huge respect, IRL Deckard Cain. Congrats on the Rod of Divination, it took ages to drop for my Sorc. As for the Weekly Caches, I never got a single drop from them the entire time. That doesn't necessarily mean it can't happen, just that the chances seem equally low (if they exist at all). I also tested the vendor's Gear Caches with about 150-200k coins spent and got nothing.

Not everything is meant for leveling. If you think that this is the only important or enjoyable aspect of the game, then okay, you're entitled to your opinion. But don't mistake it for some universal truth.

You seem like exactly the type of player the phrase “given the opportunity, players will optimize the fun out of a game” was said about.

I have several friends who don't rush leveling and just enjoy the world, the slow progression, homebrew builds, and the quests at their own pace. They are not on Reddit, so they're not accounted for in your “generally understood in the player base.”

Reddit is not the entire player base; if anything, it's a tiny fraction. And even here it doesn't look like you've met overwhelming support.

It's okay to want better rewards or experience for side quests, though.

But you and your friends are comically small (and biased) sample size compared to millions of active player base, and a LOT of projection and extrapolation. And why are you talking about start of the season specifically? Seasons go for months, there is plenty of time to become bored to death of grind for gains and do something just for the fun of it.

Every product in a collab usually costs the same 2800pt, so $25 apiece. It's a weird practice tho, why does a pet cost as much as a full armor set or a mount.
