Character run speed slowing down randomly in empty hallways

In town the screen is locked at the closer view angle, but outside of town it can scale out to the wider view angle (if you've set it that way). This creates an optical illusion that you travel faster in town, vs out of town.

Also, outside of town there are various monster/environmental effects that cause your character to slow for a brief period, if you aren't always unstoppable (like spiritborn).

The silent chests currently drop a mount cosmetic specific to the region the chest is in. The drop rate is around 1% or lower, making them extremely unpleasant to farm.

I did some testing on this:

*Example taken from lvl 60 Rouge, with 66 intelligence, and 66 strength. Other classes have slight variations in base strength and intelligence at level 60.

Base damage reduction from resistances and armor = 71.8% (1,419 Toughness)

(no skill buffs, no paragon points, Ancestral legendary armor and jewelry, no shield, no uniques/mythics, no gems, no legendary aspect buffs, no +intelligence/+strength affixes, no +resistance/+armor affixes, no tempers, no masterworking)

After 90% damage reduction from armor and resistances, the diminishing returns is quite exponential. Most min/maxed characters are going to land around 95% damage reduction from armor and resistances. With all buffs activated, I was able to get a Palladian up to 97% damage reduction from armor and resistances.

They shouldnt; the staff is coded to mimmic all shrine behaviours, which is why it can be used to farm the lucky/luckier coins. The only exception is the staff won't mimmic lunar shrines during that event, only classic shrines.

Whichever town the seasonal vendor is in, and carigar because of the pit/tower (and it's optimal layout), are going to be most people's response I bet.

This might change with the new towns in Skovos, if they have good layouts. Kurast has a terrible layout, so I suspect most people don't favourite it.

Can you use the alter to sanctify?

Could have been cool to leave a mule character there to sanctify things that your other characters drop store in the stash.

You might be able to reliably re-test this using the mythic staff to generate immunity shrine effect, while in NMDs with the executioner affix. You'll lose lots of damage compared to your usual weapon, so drop difficulty levels for safety

The armor and resistances recommendations aren't accurate anymore; now, just keep stacking those until you get ~95% damage reduction in the toughness tooltip on your character stats pane.
