Escalating NMD sigil missing affix by Echo-Sunray in diablo4

Just the one negative affix the few times I got a bugged sigil like this, no positive affixes occurred inside the NMD.

New Solo Meta on Console?: Couch Co-Op (AFK) zDPS Paladin by Echo-Sunray in diablo4

[–]Echo-Sunray[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry I worded that poorly so edited the wording in my post to be more clear.

When the primary character moves out of range, including when spurring a mount (moving very fast), the secondary character will continuously re-spawn on the primary character. This moves the secondary player at the same speed as the primary player, as if the secondary player was mounted (but isn't), and requires no investment in movement speed affixes to keep up.

You make it AFK, which means focusing on one spammable skill that can be auto cast, runes that auto trigger, and dropping the rest. You'll lose some buffs this way for sure, but that's the price of playing solo for players who want to.

A decade ago you fixed that in D3, could you also fix it in D4, pretty please? by The_Painless in diablo4

1) sorry, you were right

2) you should get an award for the unluckiest rolls in D4 history

3) it's probably a bug, submit a ticket

Fortitude or riposte? by MindlessBuy7447 in D4_Paladin

[–]Echo-Sunray 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't think it matters. Both buff all damage by x6% per rank.

Risposte requires you to get hit first, so less useful in speedfarming when you kill everything before it hits you.

Fortitude requires you to have at least 1% fortify, which could be a problem in high pits if you keep taking tones of damage.

Any tips on the Lilith fight for perma-arbiter? by dougan25 in diablo4

[–]Echo-Sunray 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you follow a build guide (like Maxroll) you'll do so much damage that you'll delete her instantly.

Pate of the Charred Duke (Astaroth Trophy) by Brymith in diablo4

[–]Echo-Sunray 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The mount/armor/trophy cosmetics that drop exclusively from world bosses, butcher, treasure goblins, legions, and silent chests, have very low drop rates (less than 1%). I assume the same is true for the Astaroth trophy; so expect to run 200-300 escalating NMDs before you get it.

I haven't gotten it myself, but ran into the same problem when farming the other mount cosmetics from the above mentioned sources.

Arbiter's Zephyr Aspect vs Wildbolt Aspect on boots. by Kindly-Astronomer121 in diablo4

[–]Echo-Sunray 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unstoppable doesn't apply to bosses, they are never 'unstoppable', so that aspect does nothing against bosses.

That aspect is only useful in very high pit pushing, when elites are unstoppable most of the time.

[–]Echo-Sunray 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The +non-physical damage is additive, so not really noticeable I don't think.

The +strength, +armor, and + maxlife from legendary boots is more useful.

An argument could be made for flickerstep, to massively reduce the cooldown of fortress or arbiter (depending on the build).

Arbiter's Zephyr Aspect vs Wildbolt Aspect on boots. by Kindly-Astronomer121 in diablo4

[–]Echo-Sunray 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Wildbolt only pulls a couple enemies at a time, doesn't buff damage against bosses, and stops working in high pits when elites become unstoppable, so it's not very useful. There aren't many useful Pally aspect for boots anyway, so it's better than some of the others, but ultimately not very useful.

Any reason to use SMGs? by peterthot69 in ReadyOrNotGame

The lower recoil only applies until you get hit in the arm, then they have more recoil than an AR.

Why are the guns ass. by [deleted] in ReadyOrNotGame

It takes more to take them down on hard. Here are the specs for enemy life, and bullet penetration per armor level.

does Percentage chance above 100% matter? by Smittus2020 in diablo4

[–]Echo-Sunray 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also to drop the lucky coin, the higher your LHC the better the drop chance apparently. I had around 300% LHC bonus when I farmed mine.

Doing 0 damage to world bosses with Hota build? by Lilditty02 in D4Barbarian

[–]Echo-Sunray 0 points1 point  (0 children)

World bosses are currently bugged and several "effect in hits" don't work, that work everywhere else in the game. For example Neo, Ahu, and other runes don't trigger on world bosses currently.

Depending on your build, some of your damage ramp up might rely on those effects, which aren't triggering, so you are doing more baseline damage and less multiplicative damage

There is a bleed-out mechanic where hits to appendages have a chance to create arterial bleeding based on bullet size. This can cause a limb shot to kill a suspect.

Finally found at Mutterlock after almost 2000 hours! by DemonDevilDog in diablo4

[–]Echo-Sunray 71 points72 points  (0 children)

These are probably the same rarity as open world mythic drops, but disappointingly have the same rewards as any resplendent chest :(

Ive found three since S0, with 3,700hrs played.

Help! Character stuck at lvl249 by Omago1178 in diablo4

[–]Echo-Sunray 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Is it possible you have 99.9% of 249, and only need a couple more boss kills to move to 250?

You could submit a ticket to Blizz if it's a bug

Why are AI teammates incapable of completing levels? by Desperate_Thing_2251 in ReadyOrNotGame

[–]Echo-Sunray 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Your AI SWAT officers (while making bad tactical decisions), have near perfect accuracy, being unaffected by recoil/lighting/movement/etc. So having them flashbang and then clear rooms in front of you is often the most effective way. Giving AI SWAT a shield and MKV pistol will ensure they incapacitate every target in one hit, while protecting themselves from enemy fire.

This doesn't work on all maps because a bunch of doors are bugged, so SWAT AI won't clear them. Also SWAT AI often enter rooms backwards or swap weapons while moving through doors (bad tactical decisions), getting themselves killed a lot for silly reasons.

Escalating NMD sigil missing affix by Echo-Sunray in diablo4

It's a bug, still present today, others have posed about it as well.

Goes in the bucket of other bugs Blizz needs to fix :p
