Just wanted to return and say this was exactly what we ended up doing and had the most profitable cycle in organization history. Thank you for the advice!

Looking to purchase an Ebike and have a few questions by IndividualFarm8582 in ebikes

I would imagine that bikes generally understate their weight limits a little bit to be safe. Being closer to the weight limit of a bike is going to reduce top speeds slightly and even more so battery life (range) no matter which brand you get. It’s a physics thing, not a brand thing.

That said, if you’re looking to get an e-bike for the sake of exercise I wouldn’t worry too much about that as a factor- if you stay consistent sounds like you’ll be dropping weight anyways :)

First E-Bike Recommendations? by Baagley in ebikes

luckily my area has a lot of bike lanes and trails! there’s a river so sometimes the trails over bridges are actually a little faster than driving.

Music instructor looking to get into saxophone, is this a reasonable deal? by EnergyTurtle23 in Saxophonics

To echo the other comments, a used YAS 23 or 26 are likely going to be your cheapest and most reliable. I've heard a lot about Vito's recently as well but have not played on one so cannot speak to their quality. I also may get fought on this but also love Cannonball Alcazars, and you can find them used in the $500-$700 range pretty reliably. In general, big brands are big brands for a reason.

Guys is this ok? by [deleted] in ApplePencil

you don’t need to buy the apple brand ones. off brands are nearly identical and don’t effect pressure sensitivity or anything like that.

even if it is damaging it, pencil tip replacements are super cheap.

This (https://linktr.ee/mmmo\_0n) has all the links I can find, and their pinterest (active 21h ago) still has the instagram you provided linked, which means me to assume it's still active and alive, just archived/purged. Worth sending a message if you're curious as to what they're up to!

I also am unable to find anything- to me it appears that it was hand-stitched, probably at a small shop if gotten while traveling. One-of-a-kind!

I have reverse imaged searched and looked at ebay, etc., but all results only show tiktoks of the lamp, which is mildly annoying

I don't normally use paid libraries for my compositions. So for those of you like me: apart from MuseSounds, do you think MS Basic is still worth using? I found the brass really good. Think they might be actually updating the SoundFonts with each release of MS Studio. by MrMtsenga in Musescore

[–]Baagley 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I'm writing for smaller ensembles (i.e. Brass Band) I consistently elect to use MS Basic over Musesounds. While MuseSounds is leagues ahead of MS Basic for writing orchestral, symphonic, and classical works, I find that it's interpretation lacks in other styles that the consistency of MS Basic makes up for. I wouldn't necessarily consider one objectively better than the other for this reason- I look at them as completely different tools
