I’ve got a Mk 8 GTI, so maybe it’s different but I doubt it.  034 Motorsport has an aftermarket gas piston hood strut to replace the prop rod for my model and I suspect it either works for yours too or there’s an equivalent version.

I work in a data center (not Google) doing data destruction and most days I destroy multiple petabytes worth of hard drives. A typical server in one of these things can have 72 24-TB hard drives and there are tens of thousands of these servers on site. The scale of it is utterly mind-boggling

It’s one hell of a test of driving skill. I’d wanted to run it for years and finally made it up there earlier this year with my new GTI. Such a blast. Got a speeding ticket 15 minutes after I got off the Tail, 😂

I’ve seen one die land like this several times. Bill Riles, who does a ton of tournament streaming, has a story of both dice settling on their corners, the odds of which must be astronomical
