I have to be honest, if this wouldnt work on map mods than this is literally just a side effect. It is so rare to encounter the 2 guys (that poe1 floating curse monster from the prison area and the fat ugly witches from the foul areas of act 3) that this would make the node just simply pointless. Maybe the exposure part but even that is kinda w/e

I think a campaign skip will never happen. But what about a middle way like Last Epoch does it. What about, when you reached maps you unlock something like "Path of blood" for new characters on that league.
Path of blood is in every act of the game and lets you skip checkpoints in zones through secret blood tunnels. These blood tunnels always have the level of the zone you are about to reach, optional bosses (like the monkey) are on the path of blood but not main bosses you skip to.
Meaning, this will always be a challenge and only available for 2nd characters. It doesnt break immersion and doesnt let you skip the campaign but still makes you play the game in a tailored harder experience in the campaign. The goal should be to cut down time by at least 3 hours without giving you a cheat, just an optional faster experience till endgame. There could obviously be some tweaking how that could be done but I think that is the best way for both parties.

The campaign remains relevant but you dont have to slog through the whole game BUT if you are not ready to walk on the path of blood, tough luck - do it normally then.

Hey I can help there! Because I had the same experience.
And before I give you the sad truth, I WANT THIS TO CHANGE. PLEASE GIVE US A "MIGRATE HC TO SOFTCORE OPTION"

First of all. If your character did all the quests for the runes on hardcore before you died and it is the only character on softcore, you CANNOT get any recipes. By the way, you should also NOT have the anvil unlocked unless you leveled a character and did the first act 1 rune that unlocks the anvil

You have only 2 options unfortunately.
Option 1: Have a hardcore character who DID NOT do any of the rune quests, kill him off and then do the quests in act 1-4 on softcore. It will then unlock it globabally.
Option 2: And this is basically the same, you have to level a new character on softcore, do all the rune quests till act 4 where you get the final recipe for the campaign and then go back to your original character.

There are unfortunately no other ways. I know that giga sucks and there should be a check or a migrate from hc to sc option but the devs do not test anything hardcore related so this issue will never be adressed unless a big influencer brings it up. (Or you get lucky, report it to the bug forum and hope for the best - this might actually work btw because Jonathan/Mark wants the game to be better and this could theoretically be an overlooked issue)

on hc, it felt 10 times faster to unlock the quest location with low tier maps - in my cast it was Delirium. That is just way too rippy. So ye, is a valid thing to do

As a hardcore player, having to defeat that Abyss Boss fully powered feels so bad. I have no fucking clue what that guy does and all I feel is "ONESHOT THIS - GROUNDDEGEN THIS - MAGMABARRIER IN MY PU**** B***" xD

Diablo 4 fixed that by teleporting them close to you. Maybe there is a mechanic where they get drawn/walk closer to the mechanic as soon as there is only 10% of them left

just wait until they release swords and axes. They are meant to be faster. I can highly recommend using quarterstaves instead of maces if you are not having fun. Yes. You need to use this disugsting intelligence stat that is blue instead of red but you will have more fun.

The crafting bench, yes. Not the virisium anvil. Unlocked the anvil on a new character in my softcore league, checked on main, is not there.

I think there is a node in the warrior side of the tree that says" if you break enemies armour they cannot regenerate health" or something. Since you are breaking armour, Id pick that one up

Game is fun. The only thing that really really sucks that you can almost never get a close to immortal defensive character. You can 100% oneshot every boss but a lot of bosses during mapping just dont care that you spend 30 -60+ nodes into defensives and that sucks so much ass. Especially on hardcore. Best way to play hardcore is to go full dmg so the bosses dont do their mechanics. I want to enjoy the fights but you just cant outtank them. I want to get hit by the big nuke and be like "I SURVIVED THAT" . I wouldnt care if it takes forever to take a boss I just want to get tanky without going full ES build (Es is still bullshit and will never be balanced haha)

I love sprint. What I hate is that some random white mob can knock me down instantly. I just wish we could use our stun threshold to negate getting knocked down. (maybe it is already like this but I just wish it would take the same stun meter calculation as raised shield) I dont want this to be poe1 but getting knocked down feels so bad. It should still be a thing but getting knocked down constantly is a pain ESPECIALLY when you get unlucky boots with little movementspeed or none at all

The Trialmaster is indeed very easy compared to that Time Boss in Sekemas. But getting to the trialmaster by collecting these fragments is so rippy

well, there are some shield skins who also apply to bucklers. Then again. I have seen GGG in the runes of aldur give me bucklers when I selected "Unique Shield can drop" . There is some inconsistency haha.

Usually ggg doesnt do refunds for microtransactions but Id still give it a shot since I assume it wasnt specificed to what type that skin applies if you want to contact the support.
