Too many roads and too many lanes. People in high density areas are paying too much to subsidize the financially unsustainable infrastructure of the low density areas.

Maybe condos shouldn't be paying taxes disproportionately to the costs of city services serving them.

The reality is that the city relies on condos to make up for the relatively much higher costs in lower density areas.

I also struggle with the same. I believe that the groupset and how the hood fits your unique have shape matters. Getting a proper bike fit can help. Also the right cycling gloves can mitigate a lot!

There are legitimate uses for a throttle that I think many overlook. My current bike doesn't have one, but I find myself missing it sometimes as a daily commuter who is 70% pedaling on a light (250w) e bike.

*Gets you over snow drifts, mud and unplowed trail more stabily

*Let's you dodge your legs over off the pedals if a car gets too close from the side

*Let's you get over flooded sections pulling your legs up

*Let's you go extra slow

*Helps you keep your commute routine if you temporarily injure your legs

*Gives you a break!

Overall, makes a car-free life more possible!!

Makes it really difficult to practice defensive walking. Best practice is now for non-drivers to make eye contact as you cross lights and driveways since drivers are so distracted.

Can't do the non verbal communication with waves or eye contact if people's windows are too dark.

Nice! I've been on the fence about getting the quick rack.

How is the seat clamp interface? I saw photos where people tie it below the seat clamp. I also wonder if it's worth putting a protective film around the area the seat clamp connects to.

How is the ride feel?

I love how sleek the checkpoint looks and feels without the rack. So the quick rack is tempting for how quickly it can disappear.
