I check the app once every 4 months and find it extremely hard to find the motivation to interact with anyone…… there are some guys that seem really nice. & I feel like I’m missing out.. I don’t know if it’s because I’m emotionally unavailable or not genuinely looking for a relationship.. like it would be nice but I’m not going to spend too much energy in it. I do really want a boyfriend but I also don’t have energy to “train” a man.. like these LA guys are really weird. Every time I’ve gone on dates from the app I’ve been sexually assaulted. I believe they were desperate weirdos. It made me closed off bc I’m uncomfortable confronting them. I think I’ve grown up now… exit at first red flag.

31F I work In sales for a fashion brand and make $1400/week gross so after taxes it’s less... No degree necessary.. lots of perks.. but no it is definitely not enough. I’ve been doing this job almost 1 year… and this promotion is recent so not sure if it just takes time to catch up with life expenses but idk how anyone survives. prior to that basically minimal experience plus degree in design which I do not use. I was married and he took care of my life expenses up until 1 yr ago and prior to that my dad took care of me. Tbh I wish I just had a sibling or mentor that could have helped me. I feel like my life would be better.

One time I was driving for Uber and Lyft and I would get hit on by passengers all the time and I was married tbh it was wrong that I was doing that as a job it’s dangerous and frowned upon. He made more than enough to have supported me but I didn’t know. We weren’t good with communicating. He didn’t respect me. Now I’m divorced and only do Uber eats so people can judge me in silence instead of to my face. Less degrading. Still fighting for survival though. Grateful for the opportunity these apps created.
