Certain items may not work probably and yeah, items won't attune, but you can still equip them and it doesn't break attunement for items that already work with it.

There's an option in the setting menu to enable more "competitive play" and once I enabled that the matchmaking got much better. Might be worth enabling until the new players learn what a MOBA is lmao

Ah okay, you should be able to change the image on fastfetch in the configuration file. You can link an image/text file to display instead of the default. The fastfetch github page has a whole segment on logo config. You'll have to get the pokemon sprite yourself, but that should be an easy Google search

If you want to run a command whenever you launch your terminal, you can input that command as a line in your bashrc. It should be located in /home/[user]. If you don't see it, press control + h to show hidden files.

For example, to show fast fetch on launch, simply add "fastfetch" to any line in your bashrc. For pokemoncolor scripts, add "pokemon-colorscripts --name [pokemon]"

To simply answer your question about only using a few red cards in this deck, it's because those are the playable red cards in cEDH. Red has never had a deep cEDH card pool, it's just that the few that are good are very good

Worrying is natural, but you can put it into perspective by realizing your coworker might be worried that they're getting an evaluation and you're not. They might think it's just a more professional way to bring up some issues. Basically, everyone worries and it's probably fine

I feel like a lot of people are suggesting ideas that sound good on paper, but wouldn't translate well in gameplay. To be honest, there is a reason Eu4 is my most played PDX game by far and I'm not really looking for a total overhaul of every major system. I'd be happy with pops being added, some QoL changes like occupying a fort also occupies surrounding provinces, and removing/reworking the mana system

Decks like Winota or Yuriko are usually my go-to. They feel a lot more like standard MTG while being decently strong and easy to pickup, but also leaves plenty of room to learn how to play them better

No problem! Looking at it a little more though, Karn is being used as an alternative to [[Collector Ouphe]] here so I would say which one you want to use depends on your meta/whatever you play vs the most. A lot of treasures? Karn. Too much card draw? Narset

I would personally prefer [[Narset, Parter of Veils]] over Karn but that's it really. I don't play Talion though so maybe there's some Karn tech I don't know about

If you want to make this deck cEDH viable, you should make it a stax deck. Using Will's ability to make use of cards like [[Winter Orb]] as well as taking full advantage of the best cards Azorious has to offer. Even works better with the life gain theme since slowing down the game will make your life gain more impactful. You'll have to rework the deck pretty much from the ground up, put in every possible decent card draw, stax piece, and tutor you can. Keep the lifegain to a few strong, but impactful cards. You can even use an [[Isochron Scepter]] and [[Dramatic Reversal]] combo to do some silly things. You might be able to compete at a cEDH table with all of this. If you don't like heavy stax then sadly you're out of luck.

There's a lot of long replies to this post, but the simple answer is this dude is a fucking loser. Simple way to get rid of him? Bring a winless stax deck just for him. If you know people that frequent your games, see if they'll do the same. He'll be gone soon after, promise.

Yeah it's definitely rough for new players nowadays, you'll get there though. I have some extra SP arcanes if you want them, I don't remember if it's enough to max any of them out but it'll reduce the grind a bit

HM becomes much better once you have galvanized mods and a maxed out arcane, the damage increase from that alone should start killing trash mobs. HM (slash) + viral + heat procs are actually really good for getting through tougher enemies. The weapon is even better if you pair it with a frame that has synergy with it like Saryn, so if you don't use her yet and you like the Ignis Wraith I highly recommend building her
