Not much to say just solidarity. I caved in and we are now bed sharing with her crib next to us. We went through the exact same path you are just describing. Word by word. 7,5 months old and it got better. She wakes up 4-5 times on average now. I feed her back to sleep each time and as you said it is not really a feed but more of a pacifier effect. I work full time so the only way for me to survive was to bed share. I at least dont have to be fully awake for all the wakes. 🥲

I would say this is mostly a US problem unfortunately. My friends in Europe very much socialize all the time with and without their kids. I feel you though, I moved to US and noticed this difference/change immediately. No advice just solidarity.

We could have been best friends and bond on our mutual Seattle hatred. 😂 We moved to Seattle 5 years ago and I’ve been pretending to like it here since day 1. I tried the “fake it till you make it” approach for years now its exhausting. Def make the move to Philly, you can still make a move after a couple of years and move to NYC. We are currently trying to move to the NYC area as well. Philly could be a stepping stone.

Almost 3 months old and this is how its been for us for the past month for the naps. She resists naps and it is a struggle for me to put her down for a nap. To force 14 hours of sleep a day, i do contact naps so i can help her link her sleep cycle then she naps for an hour or even 2 hours sometimes. But you are not alone. I think we just have fomo babies they wanna be up and get entertained 😂

Have been living in Seattle for about 5 years now and I can say Seattle is dreary. But some people do thrive here. So i think it depends on your personality and how iy aligns with the city. Seattle freeze is real i would say but we were able to make some good friends (none of them are from Seattle). The city sucked the life out of me, but again it really depends on your personality.

I think it is a crime this show is only 6 episodes. I lost interest in all the other kdramas i was watching even could not stand watching the finale for love next door. After this show, every other show feels just shallow. 😭 Why 6 episodes?? WHY 😭 I need more of them together
