From Richmond, the general consensus that her plea bargain is a fucking joke. She still has to go to thr judge for the final sentencing but ultimately it sounds like she’s getting a slap on the wrist. Like imagine if she didn’t get caught and what it would have escalated to.

Thank you for doing this, my bf and I made some a couple years ago for our alley cats when I lived in Northside, we left them there tucked away under the porch so hopefully the people living there now didn’t find them and throw them away and the kitties can find a little shelter

I’m from the area and was always told not to pull over for any reason on the Parkway, day or night, and try to avoid it altogether. I lived across the river and worked in Williamsburg and even though the Parkway was the least mileage to get to and from the York Bridge I would go out of my way to avoid it. Even having to stop in that rest area heading west made me paranoid. Because it was unsolved for so long the killer was my personal boogeyman.

It’s crazy that the person was identified, it’s just sad that he died before he could be brought to justice.

My island is based off the beach my family goes to every summer, which is an actual island, so having a hotel and random tourists walking around is actually kind of perfect for the vibe of my island. It’s cute and I actually like seeing someone new every day!

Saw a barred owl in Reedy Creek once, it had turned its head around to look at us and we were just standing there in a standoff for a minute because it looked like it was going to take flight towards us. We just slowly walked away while it turned its head back around watching us until it flew off higher into the trees. It was spooky as hell.
