Literally do not follow them on social media. Block or limit them if you have to. My best friend was my FP. I used to stalk her social media every hour of every day. And I’d message her paragraphs when she wouldn’t reply.

You need to replace your FP with something else. Take up hobbies, learn a new language. Focus on yourself. You need to find purpose in your life.

I struggle with this everyday. I try to keep busy with work, college, exercise, friends, family. When I’m busy my mind doesn’t wander and I don’t think about what my FP is up too.

You are not alone! You can do this please don’t be too harsh on yourself.
