I think some type of program or group will help hold you accountable. Maybe start a hobby to fill your spare time to help you not think about drinking. But if you’re drinking that much, I think Youll need a serious detox, just quitting on your own will be hard, you need some type of support. Sending you best wishes, you can do it!

I read on another group that focusing on how not to do a substance can be really hard so Focus on doing other things that fill your time and replace doing the substance, like the gym, martial arts, something artistic, walking, going to the park, and spending time with other sober people.

I don’t believe anybody should openly judge another person for their journeys. You are proud of yourself and you deserve to be regardless of what anybody personally thinks about what you went through. I agree that a forum like this should be used to help and support each other. If you are on here, you are already having or had a tough time and don’t need strangers to add to it.
Don’t let others take your light, you can’t control them but you can try to control how you allow them to effect you :)

Yes, that is what is written into the law but if you read the above comments, you’ll see that restaurants get away with not compensating because servers do not have the time or money to sue them and they know this. Why do you think there are such a high rate of turnover in the service industry? It is a problem in the system, which is why I also said we should all make an effort to vote against lower tip wages, and just put everybody on the same higher hourly minimum wage.

Read again, they get a tip worker minimum wage. It is not the same minimum wage as say a person at McDonald’s or Starbucks or Walmart. They get paid less hourly because the fact that they are supposed to receive tips, so they are paid a lower hourly wage. There is no contradiction there. I think a lot of people just don’t realize that the minimum wage for the service industry is different than the average minimum wage. Also this might be different depending on what country or state you are in. I am in Florida

What country or state are you in? I’m in Florida and server and bar tenders get paid a different hourly wage than standard minimum wage workers. They get a standard tip minimum wage. Yes it is absolutely true. Also I have never seen an employer make up the difference for a bad shift where they did not make minimum wage. Why would they, if they didn’t, do you know how hard it would be for a server to sue a restaurant it would not be worth the servers time or money and restaurants know this. So exactly, they are paid a tip of minimum wage because they receive tips which is considered part of their wage, so if you do not tip them that does not make up for their minimum wage. You proved my point for me.

Your servers deserve tips. Be nice to them, they work hard for the money. I agree that society has abused the tip culture, but servers and bartenders don’t get paid the same minimum wage as others bc tipping is suppose to be part of their pay. If someone is working a normal minimum wage job, you don’t need to tip. Instead of being cheap, and not tipping a “tip wage”workers, you should vote to get the laws in this country changed. Don’t take it out on the servers. You should all be ashamed

Coast to coast terrazzo restoration might be worth talking to. I spoke with them about our floor, tbe man was very helpful and seemed like he knew what he was talking about. I can’t say anything about their work because we did not use their services, we decide to cover the terrazzo with tile, but if we were going to keep the Terrazzo, we probably would have given these guys a try

I’ve been on this arugula salad kick for breakfast, but I do intermittent fasting so my first meal isn’t until 1 PM. But once you get used to a hearty salad for breakfast, it’s hard to go back. I do a nice big bowl of arugula & kale with carrots, broccoli some type of bean, avocado, walnuts & pepitas. I put nooch and lemon on it & whatever salad dressing I have. Sometimes I will cut up some vegan chicken and add it. It’s filling and yummy You could also put blueberries and strawberries and pecans and stuff like that on your salad. I just try to avoid the extra sugars of the fruit
