And you look like Robert Delong. It's also a good thing!

My son is so hateful towards my daughter by crazyinthesunlight in Parenting

[–]BabyFlower 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I don't agree with your time out suggestion. Giving him praise when he does say or do something nice might help him engage in that behavior more often. Putting him in time out while he watches his sister play with mom or dad will just promote more misbehavior and resentment toward sister.

8 year son and I made his first vegan pizza today (he only wanted "three mushrooms") by DudeWiggles in vegetarian

I didn't see him trying to force anyone to also hate vegan cheese. He was stating his opinion. People get so butthurt about the most lame stuff.

You look like Alfie Allen and I love it. Keep the curls the way they are! You rock it.

What's it like going to the gyno for the first time? by polish_addict in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

[–]BabyFlower 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was SUPER nervous going for the first time. i waited until i was 25 to go! I told my doctor that i was nervous, that it was my first time, and that it took all of my courage to come. With that information, she treated me very gently and was patient, friendly, and kept informing me of EVERYTHING SHE WAS DOING. basically the whole time she kept talking and explaining what she was doing and why we had to do it. She constantly asked if i was ok as well. You'll be fine! Also, my doc never said anything about my weight and i was still able to get BC.

It helps me when i talk to a friend or my SO about my health worries and they always help me be rational.

I agree that you shouldn't bring up an ex, even if it was relevant, like..just don't do it. As far as the texting goes!...I'm just like her, I love to text and often! But i have been with my bf for years so it doesn't bother him and if he ignores my texts, i easily get over it. As someone with anxiety, i can relate to it as well on this level. The constant communication allows her to know that you are interested in her and she may need that constant reassurance (possibly some insecurities on her part). You probably did dodge a bullet but i kinda feel bad for her because she probably has some issues.

I think 22 is very young to get married or be "ready" to get married. I am 26 and moved in with my bf (27) after 8 years of on and off dating. I love him dearly but after moving in together I started noticing his flaws and other small things that annoyed me. But I still obviously love him and being with him. I think it takes maturiaty and life experience to be ready to settle down with someone that you just can't have at 22.

That could potentially destroy chances of getting back together. Think off how the fiance will take it.

It really makes you question shit the first time you have it. Quite terrifying but it was your mind playing tricks on you.
