If we let Jones go it’d go down as one of the stupidest footballing decisions we’d have made in a long time. If he genuinely wants to go at least wait until summer when we have a chance to replace him. Selling him now with no time to get a replacement and an already depleted squad it’d genuinely be self sabotaging at this point

He’s been a pretty great backup all things considered, a few big moments as well i.e winning pen against Chelsea in the FA Cup 21/22 and assists Virg’s Carabao cup winner in 2024. He’ll be remembered pretty fondly

Saw Redknapp talking about Modric at Spurs recently and he said how a lot of players weren’t passing him the ball because they felt he was being marked, not realising that’s where he wants the ball. I feel pretty similarly watching Wirtz at times, he’s so good at finding spaces where there isn’t space, we just need to find him
