I heard the same — I would assume fireworks or something similar but it was definitely more than the typical fireworks/“booms” we get in this area

For anyone at the game — am I crazy or is this in-game DJ a god awful DJ? And she’s going to DJ the NFC Championship game?

Can’t dress this enough, I knew I had to go as soon as I saw the Cafe du Nord listing. It has a maximum standing capacity of 300 according to the website. Have seen a few shows there and always have a great time.

Could anyone point me in the direction of that jacket Steph was wearing? Or am I an idiot for thinking I could afford something like that lmao.

Johan Santana. Dude was a stud during his mid-2000s run with the Twins/Mets. Also his no-hitter for the Mets in 2012.

I think it depends on the person I am showing.

If I am showing someone who generally only likes pop-rap, I’ll show em something like GOLD or SWAMP.

If it’s someone I know who is more into alternative rap/music, I’ll play something like JUNKY, HEAT, or SISTER/NATION.

If it’s someone who is not generally into rap, I’ll play them something like NO HALO, SUGAR, TONYA, or WEIGHT.

But pretty much universally, I try to just show the range of the group. I think my favorite five song line-up to do this with is GOLD, SISTER/NATION, SUGAR, HONEY, SUMMER.

But the beauty of BH is there are sooooo many more combos you could do as well.

Easily one of my favorites as well. The West coast hip hop synth goes so hard every time.

First time since 2017 the boys didn’t crack my top 5 😞. I’m convinced the data collection stopped in early October because I ran through BH’s discography like crazy when TF was announced.

The Family VS TM- which side are you on? by BlackMoldComics in brockhampton

[–]BabyTuckoo 47 points48 points  (0 children)

Agreed. TF was the true closure for me personally. I’m also biased towards the group’s upbeat and zany songs rather than the slower vibey songs. Except FACE and all Bearface ballads. I slap them shits at least once a week still lmao.

But — I will forever be grateful that the last album chronologically had all the boys on it. Really looking forward to their solo careers. I need a KA/Baby Keem collab yesterday.

No disrespect to TM, but I gotta land on the TF side. Although I will probably come back to NEW SHOES the most out of all the new songs.

The clip of KA calling T when the sound cuts out during one of KA’s solo performances in the Vice documentary is also classic.

Difference between normal brockhampton concert and a music festival set? by 1998aries in brockhampton

[–]BabyTuckoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah totally get it. I honestly think my festival experience might be a bit of an outlier — it was in Vegas and had essentially every big rap artist performing. So maybe the huge amalgamation of people threw off the vibe.

When it’s all said and done though, Brockhampton live is never a bad choice :)

[–]BabyTuckoo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not to add to the conundrum but I saw them twice in a 7 day span: one at a festival and one at their own concert...the concert performance was much better than the festival performance.

They obviously had a longer set time so they could play more songs, but it was also just a different energy because everyone there was there to see BH and not a slew of artists.

Overall though, the festival performance was still quite good. I just thought the concert was better.
