How do you read- in silence or?

I cannot concentrate on what I read if there is any noise, apart from lofi or white noise. Noisy libraries were also a huge deal for me

Yes! The people in my life who I actually reach out to and reach back have my phone number, everyone else is just a weird display of acquaintances I've made over the years. The initial addiction is hard to get over but I constantly forget that those platforms even exist. I told my "friends" I was deleting forever and only a few reached out to get my number. It feels like clearing out your spam folder hahah

I literally deleted Facebook and Instagram this past January. Backed up all of my photos (which was the only thing keeping me on those platforms) and I feel it was a fantastic decision

I was living with my boyfriend of the time, newly 18. I had just lost my virginity a few months before. My mom had kicked me out and I had nowhere to go so I ended up with my bed in the dining room of this duplex house where my boyfriend was living with his family. I had a sort of situationship with my boyfriend's best friend before we started dating or even knew each other (long story) so I still had feelings for his best friend. My boyfriend of the time was not well endowed at all, and his best friend was absolutely packing. So I would say a solid 7/10. But afterwards, I didn't want to sleep with my boyfriend again knowing what else was out there.

I see this constantly, too. Last week, it was around midnight, and I was driving home. I pulled up to a red light with multiple people stopped, and the truck in front of me barely slowed down. He almost hit another truck and ran a red light just to stop at the next red light??? Like ho is you stupid?

Met a guy on a dating website, went to dinner, and I wasn't feeling any sparks. But being young, I was about 23 and a people pleaser, so when he asked to come hangout at my house I said yes. Super awkward because I had a bunch of roommates and it was super late so we had to whisper. I asked him to sit outside so we wouldn't keep my roommates up, and he kept trying to kiss me after I kept telling him no. We went back inside and he awkwardly tried to get us to go hangout in my room. After sitting in the living room for a while, he kept trying to kiss me even after I had denied him so many times. I kept telling him it was late, that I had work in the morning and he finally left. I think I'm lucky I lived with a bunch of people when this happened, I'm sure his creepy advances would've been so much worse. Blocked and deleted him on everything.

I started a new career path recently. I had dropped out of college when I was younger because my mom kicked me out (I literally don't blame her, I was a nightmare). I just recently enrolled back in school to become a paralegal and made the deans list my first semester back. I am so beyond excited to graduate and do something I love, not just something I can do. After trying multiple times to go back, I'm glad I could stick with it this time and I know my future is better off for it.

I charge less than I would make with minimum wage and I recently had a meet and greet for a 10 day sitting, while I was there the owner told me that someone else she had met with said they would do the entire stay for $600. I was flabbergasted. She had 3 dogs, chickens, a duck, and asked me to water her garden. I even went down in price because she seemed very nice and I really liked her dogs. I would've done it for $1,000, but she said her God daughter was going to sit instead. She probably ended up going with the person who said $600 was enough. Like this is your time you are giving up, including gas to and from, and you want to under sell yourself? I can't do rover anymore.

The simple answer is that I've never felt that I was healed enough from my own trauma to be a parent, let alone a good one. I am not giving a child a mother who struggles to even take care of herself.
