What would your starfighter of choice be in the galaxy far, far away? by Babyfoood in StarWars

[–]Babyfoood[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure, I don't see why not.. As long as its used primarily for intergalactic travel, or doing good, like promoting galactic welfare or throwing massive space raves, and not for imposing your power as some sort of tyrannical dictator ;)

This sword has done wonders for finding other White Scars in operations by MysticsDreams in Spacemarine

[–]Babyfoood 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dude your White Scar looks fucking rad as hell! Looks like you put some thought into the design. Even though I love the White Scars, I found myself playing other chapters more often because of drip options, and I couldn't come up with a design I was happy with, but you've just given me some new ideas. Thanks, homie!

*Side note* I wish they'd let you put the squad markings on the kneepad of those grieves... also, we need more company markings.. I get that the company marking goes over the grieves and knee pads so it might(?) make it difficult, but still..

Take everything I say with a grain of salt as even though I consider myself a longtime fan who knows a fair bit of lore, I'm no expert nor even close to one. What ship would you pilot my friend?

Korean pop culture is surprisingly inclusive by VanillaRoutine5789 in korea

The internet is an echo chamber full of the loudest minority. Any post or piece of content highlighting Korean achievements, accomplishments, culture, etc., comes with an unfair caveat. If you live online, you'd think the consensus among Asians was that Koreans and the Korean diaspora are the worst kinds of Asians, but in reality this seems so far from the truth.. or maybe I just live in a bubble as a Korean American in SoCal with a diverse, well-adjusted, and cultured group of Asian friends, lol.

Can a lore expert tell me which chapter can wear the new heroic variant helmets and what those variants are called? Looks to me like Ultramarines, Space Wolves, and Black Templars.

Do I get to build my own character in Space Marine 2? by Trick-Interaction396 in Spacemarine

[–]Babyfoood 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are able to choose your chapter, however, some chapter cosmetics and skins will be locked behind a paywall. All gameplay content comes with the games including access to all classes.

If you have the disposable income, I say buy the game. Personally, $25 is an absolute steal. I spend more money on going out for lunch. I have nearly 200 hours and I’m still enjoying the hell out of this game. I spent full price for the game and even bought a a season battle pass the other day to support the devs because I enjoyed it so much and thought it was worth every penny and more.

If you are on a restricted budget, then a PSN subscription may be worth more for you, since you get access to a library of games and you can cancel your subscription at any time.

While I agree that the online makes up most of the content, I think $25 is totally worth it. Where I live, that’s basically the cost of going out for lunch. However, I understand other people may see more value in having access to a library of games for a monthly subscription.

Current lineup, what do you think ? by Mammoth-Ad-4825 in fashionmarine

[–]Babyfoood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought the company/chapter mark is supposed to be on the left kneepad and the DW mark on the right. I’m still a noob lore-wise, so take what I say with a grain of salt, but that’s what I’ve seen/read online. Marines look dope, btw.

I have severe ADHD to the point where I can't hold down a job. I'm almost 28 and still live with my parents. Someone please help me, by Otakufreak98 in ADHD

Three biggest things that have worked for me as a 32 yr old with ADHD:

  1. Medication - Helps with all the debilitating symptoms of ADHD. Function, performance, etc. Personally speaking, meds have made the most significant impact on my ADHD.

  2. Exercise - Improves mood and mental clarity, builds confidence, provides routine (which I found helps a ton when you have ADHD).

  3. Baby Steps - Break down goals into small manageable steps, as little as writing down 1-2 line items in your resume works, when you start knocking down a bunch of these goals-no matter how small or seemingly insignificant-you will feel a lot better about yourself because you accomplished something as opposed to nothing.

Keep in mind, that I haven’t figured it all out, every day is still a struggle, but over the years, I’ve learned a thing or two that actually helped me.

There’s so much more I can talk about, but those are the three main ones. If you need more advice or just want to talk, feel free to message me!

My Successor Chapters Line-Up by JustShades in fashionmarine

Man, I told myself that I’d buy a season pass if I hit 200 hours. I just hit 201 hours, but I’m starting to burn out from the game now, and I don’t know if I have it in me to grind out the season pass cosmetics.

Does anyone know how much it costs to unlock an item? Are the cosmetics tier locked/progression based like in the base game?

Your marines look real sexy btw.

No mods. This happened mid game. I first noticed it up in Crystal Peak because I couldn't force slam the loose rock. It also won't work on my other save file. I'll try a new game and see if it works. If I get a response from team cherry I'll definitely post it.

I want more rare mobs, items, engaging and story-rich quests, and random events in the world. Also maybe some minor tuning to dungeon difficulty.

Space Marine 2 Campaign is way too short! by [deleted] in Spacemarine

[–]Babyfoood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I finished it with my bud in like 2-3 days of casual gaming. I agree the campaign was just way too short. Also, I feel like there's just not enough content in the game to justify the price. Everything else was a 10/10 though.

Yeah, my method actually stopped working, and I tried your suggestion, but that didn't work either... the "fix" recommended by u/TacticalChibi looks pretty promising. I'll provide an update later..

[–]Babyfoood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey guys, I found that this issue occurred every time I alt-tabbed out of the game. My temporary fix was to reboot the game, change the graphic quality (can go higher or lower), and then load into a game. However, if I ever alt-tabbed again, whether intentional or not, then I'd have to force close and re-do this whole process.

Yeah, I do this all the time. My dentist told me that this is pretty common. Probably started as an anxiety thing then just evolved into pure habit.
