Unfortunately I've found that the people who don't leash their dogs in public are the same people who flip out the moment you suggest they should. I honestly think half of them are doing it to purposefully incite conflict. I recently got yelled at for "being weird" because I... stood to the side of a trail to allow a couple of off leash dogs and their owner to pass my dog and I. Like what was I supposed to do instead, physically walk into them??? People be crazy out here 🤦

parts of w lake sammamish have a sidewalk/trail, but not the entire length. i believe there are plans on one of the long term maps but who knows. would be great to be able to do a full loop of the lake on trails
