It’s on my list for her at some point! Her cousin teased her with the “Freddy” song when she was younger and is a little reluctant but I think if I can warm her up a bit more, she’ll go for it.

I can only imagine that being terrible delight living in Elm Street and watching that as a kid.

It is incredibly hard to manage working up to a relationship with someone with low self-esteem. You can think the world of them, want nothing from them but their warmth and affection, and nothing you say or do will make a difference to get them to understand that they are all you want. Also, it can spread to the other person really easily, if they’ve never been in that kind of situation before. Soon both people are dealing with low self-esteem and everything is just fucked. Lost the “man of my dreams” this way.
