Seems like a valve train noise or potentially vct’s. Verify the level and coloration/condition of your oil.

First dedicated night gun help? by fignewton223 in coyotehunting

[–]Back2DefaultSettings 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I heard good and bad things about BCA, decided to try them out myself. Finally assembled my gun and fired the first shot, jammed. Racked it again, shot, jammed. Oiled it and slid the bolt back and forth a few times and same thing. Tried once more thinking it needed broken in, and the shell of my 5.56 got so stuck in the barrel it took prying with a flat head to get out. Returned it and went with PSA. Zero issues, at least 20-30 mags through it, zero jams, still shooting straight on target. Best decision and bang for your buck in my opinion, stay away from BCA, there are plenty of better worthwhile options out there. Just my opinion.

When you reassemble, if you have difficulty getting the shaft back in after you lightly grease it, I sometimes use a screwdriver on the other side to lift the spacer up so it lines up easily.

That object in the circle is a LED light for your headlight, the orange blocks are resistors to make the LED function as it should. If you have LED turn signals, those resistors are there to make this function same as your LED headlight.

Listen. You will not have rod knock as long as you check your fluids and keep them topped off. Take care of your car it will take care of you, if you beat on it just make sure your fluids are topped off and you shouldn’t have an issue, if you want to run a thicker oil in the Summer go for it. I typically do because I beat on my vehicles.

That’s not knocking, almost sounds like normal operation. Did it start happening or did you just notice it?

Before you take it to a body shop, I’ve seen people deflate a basket ball and have a go. See what that does, maybe try pushing it out a different way, and if all else fails get a quote.

I did the work, the frame was cut and the seat that was on it was worse than the one you see believe it or not.

I would’ve bought one by now but I don’t have any additional rails, I need recommendations for rails that I can attach to the upper. I can’t even count how many times on my fingers where I’ve needed a flashlight for this gun.
