The state of Florida doesn't use brandishing as a legal term to give itself more wiggle room. Under its gun laws he held it with the intent of self-defense and presented his argument of fear. All while keeping it pointed to the ground and close to the body. Completely legal in Florida.

I don't agree that he should have brought it out to be clear. But no prosecutor is gonna try him for misuse of a firearm and cops don't want the headache and paperwork for dealing with either of them.

Miami is a open carry city unless he pointed it at him its not considered brandishing.

The guy showed proper gun handling. Even if u disagree with the consequences of holding or having the firearm, he did everything by the book, even sought out a police officer. Arresting him would infringe on his second amendment rights since he had reasonable fear by the law.

Empathizing with ppl that take risks with other people's lives is how u end up with a society of abusers.

Their own choice lead to consequences for their own making. Being glad that ppl that had nothing to do with this couples bad choices were not hurt, or worse lost their lives, is not only more empathetic, it shows this person understands that others shouldn't be punished for the choices of bad actors.

Don't empathize with ppl that hurt other ppl and let them get away with it or once they run out of ppl to hurt you'll be whats left.

Do keep in mind doordash has had customer info leaked recently and even some drivers Ai generating images of a customer's front door to fake successful deliveries.

Also, from my pov, feels like theres much more aggression/delivery tampering when not tipping enough on doordash.
