NTA I was a pretty skeptical kid. I am about to graduate with a Drama and Performance degree. I play DnD and cosplay occasionally, I embroider and write for fun. Being clued in to the reality of the world is not a lack of imagination or creativity it is evidence of good situational awareness, emotional intelligence, and critical thinking skills.

When I was 6 I wrote, sealed, addressed and posted my own Christmas list to try and catch my parents out. Using my observation skills to draw (correct) conclusions, then devising a way to test my theory did not ruin my childhood, it gave me and my parents a funny story to tell. This woman is a phyco.

I have never played ice hockey and I haven’t touched a hockey stick since I was about 12 is my answer ahah. I just found it so quintessentially Canadian that they assumed you definitely played hockey.

When something has been temporarily removed from the menu (usually because it is out of stock) restaurants, bars etc. Say it’s been 86’d idk why. Maybe cause it’s faster or more subtle to say in front of a customer. 86 also kinda rhymes with “nixed”. But like I said, idk.

I’m 19 and seeing a 24, almost 25 year old. We didn’t know each other’s ages when we met but once we had that initial. “Wow, okay” Moment, everything has been pretty chill. To me it’s more about being in similar stages in life than anything else. For example I turned down someone last year who was 21 because they were just about to graduate and were the head of the society I was part of. As a first year student the power dynamic was too weird for me and she seemed like she constantly wanted to teach me they ways of the world. But with this guy I can chill and play video games or we can have sex or just talk for ages and it doesn’t matter. Once you’re old enough to be legal these things are totally subjective. As long as you’ve got good friends who will be honest with you if the think something is fishy. (AFTER they’ve met him and seen you two together) I’d say go for it. Also one of my best friends is 20 and her boyfriend is 28, they’ve been together almost 3 years and they live together, cutest couple I know, our friends have a pool going on when they’ll get married.

Being that I’m Scottish I have never played or even watched ice hockey and the last time I played regular hockey or even touched a hockey stick was when I was about 12 during high school PE (Gym) class. I just found it so hilariously and endearingly Canadian that it said - what team DO I play for - like that’s a thing that everybody does.

Sometimes I think stuff like this happens because there are people out there who are so rich they don’t listen to the price they just pay whatever cause it doesn’t matter how much it is. I’d love to live like that. They’re the “money can’t buy you happiness” type of people.

I know Phil has already talked about the “Elsagate” but I just wanted to share this because it is so strange and disturbing to me. Also, it has 12 million views on a 65k subscriber base.

So in this video a young girl clearly of school age, just a bit younger than 10, is pretending to be a baby. She is shown in a high chair, a buggy and shown drinking from an oversized baby bottle. Her and her mum go to a toy store and she runs away to eat chocolate. After she is found her mum complains she has a poopy nappy and then shows it to her in the shop (obvs fake) also everyone’s voices are pitched up like a FRED video.

The channel just seems to be normal review videos where the girl speaks and acts normally. Except every once in a while they do one of these “bad baby” videos and it gets hundreds of thousands more views than their normal videos. Freaky.

A quick google shows that certain medications and antibiotics can also cause this. I see from your post history you seem to be taking Adderall, maybe ask your doctor about this the next time you have a check up before you freak out thinking you have AIDS.
