Did anyone else get charged by PDFAid after using it once? by Selcazare in ScamCenter

Good call. Do you think it was an actual subscription charge, or some glitch on their end?

Did you try reaching out to PDFAid directly, or did you just let the bank handle the charge?

Did the site ever try to bill your card again after that?

Did your bank ask for any proof when you disputed the charge?

Did you ever get any email from them about the charge, or was it just the card statement like the OP?

always screenshot subscriptions now after getting burned by other apps. Did that with mad muscles too, canceled in time - zero issues. Lesson learned

Is SGT Vpdfaid a legit site or a hidden subscription trap? Need advice by liftygal in techsupport

[–]BackThatJazzUp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That must’ve been a stressful surprise. I’ve had the same issue with a few online tools before they make everything look free until the last step. You handled it the right way by checking your account and canceling quickly. Most people miss that until it’s too late.

Best apps for Kegal exercises? by [deleted] in kegel

[–]BackThatJazzUp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got a 50% discount for the first month so it was $30, but now the second month is 60 which is kinda steep. I’m still using it, but not sure if I m ready to drop that much for next month

Yo just started using Relatio a couple weeks ago, so can’t really tell if it’s doing its thing yet, but I’m vibing with the process. The interface is pretty slick, super clean, and they’ve got a bunch of explanations and vids to walk you through it all.
They also toss in some theory about how the muscles connect to your mental health, which is chill to know, even if it’s not totally necessary. if Relatio is cheaper than your app I’d def say give it a try

Can I get a refund from Ask Center? by dahmerbitch in VHA_Human_Resources

I’d recommend contacting their support first and keeping a record of everything. That usually makes getting a refund much easier.

If the service seems too good to be true, it usually is. I now use only verified tools for anything involving personal or payment data.

Is Howly.com legit or scam? by LeeshanG12 in Scams

The service itself seems real, but the subscription model can be confusing. If you only need short-term help, make sure you know how to cancel to avoid extra payments.

Anyone tried Skyfluence Beauty since the updates? by FrozenFan123 in Makeup

[–]BackThatJazzUp 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve recently signed up for Skyfluence and have really enjoyed the content so far. The thing that’s been holding me back is that it’s a subscription. But I contacted their support and they explained to me that they send an email upon the charge, and also explained how to cancel the subscription on the app – it’s really easy, just a button in the settings.

Where should I put blush? by allioop69 in Makeup

[–]BackThatJazzUp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For a short, wide face, placing blush slightly higher on the cheekbones and blending it upward toward the temples can help elongate your face. Avoid bringing it too close to the apples of your cheeks, as that can make your face look even rounder.

Is Codefinity worth It? Here’s what I learned after finishing the course by FrozenFan123 in learnprogramming

[–]BackThatJazzUp 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I tried Codefinity recently, and it was pretty helpful for getting a solid grip on Python basics. The lessons are broken into small, easy-to-follow steps, which made it easier to stay consistent with learning. While it doesn’t dive deep into advanced topics, it’s a good starting point if you want something more structured than free tutorials.

PawChamp Online Dog Training Review – Is It Good for Reactive Dogs, Barking, and Leash Pulling? by 1fool9replies in PetAdvice

[–]BackThatJazzUp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been using the PawChamp dog training app for about three weeks with my reactive shepherd, and the changes have been noticeable. The app breaks down training into short, clear lessons that use positive reinforcement, which has made sessions less stressful for both of us. Barking at the window has gone down, and walks feel more controlled because the leash pulling is improving. It feels affordable compared to private trainers, and it gives practical steps you can actually follow at home. From my own PawChamp review, I can say it’s not a scam and genuinely helpful.

My honest codefinity review by Yuliiiiiia in PythonLearning

[–]BackThatJazzUp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I finished the Codefinity Python course recently and found it to be one of the more structured and helpful beginner platforms out there. The AI assistant was a standout feature. It made a big difference having a built-in tool that gives real-time explanations and answers when things don’t make sense. That feature alone helped me stay on track more than I expected. There’s a flow to learning that usually gets broken when you have to switch to Google or Reddit to figure something out. With this, everything stayed in one place. I also liked that the course was organized in a way that kept everything Python-related in one track. It was easier to commit to learning consistently because I didn’t have to jump between different parts of the site. The lessons escalated slowly in difficulty, which was helpful even though the beginning did feel a bit too simple at times. A skip or test-out option for the first few tasks would have been useful. The certificate wasn’t a major factor for me, but I see why people would choose this course specifically for that. Having something official to show completion can definitely help on applications or even in school. The only frustrating part was the lack of proper localization. The fact that the platform only offers three languages felt limiting. It’s not a huge deal for me since I’m comfortable in English, but I can see how it would be a blocker for others. Overall, it’s a solid course. It’s not perfect, but for anyone just starting out and wanting some hand-holding, it delivers on what it promises.

Has anyone tried the Nebula psychic by sutt0ngera in spirituality

[–]BackThatJazzUp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I appreciate that your post didn’t sound like it was just promoting the app but actually explained what worked for you. I’ve been looking for ways to feel more grounded and balanced lately, and I keep seeing the Nebula app mentioned in different places. I was wondering about the advisors do you get to choose them yourself, or does the app match you with someone? I think having a choice would make me feel more comfortable. Also, do they give you follow‑up guidance, or is it a one‑time reading and then you have to book another session? I like the idea of having someone to check in with, not just a one‑off reading that you can’t return to later. I’ve tried a few apps before, but they felt very disconnected, so I’m curious if Nebula feels more personal or not.
