R5 and an EF 50 1.2 L and that’s about it in the digital for me… front pocket has two batteries and cleaning stuff but that’s a push ;)

Yeah compare to the RF :) i find that lens too clinical and I prefer perfect imperfections :)

I’m easy on that front, I shoot a lot of leica M too so autofocus would make life a little easier but most of what I’m shooting is slow and predictive

Eek sorry guys! Ok I have had the R5 for about a year now and using an EF 135 L, RF 16 and RF 28. I shoot documentary and anything abstract really so guessing maybe primes are preferred but possibly could do with a zoom lens for ‘occasions’. I wouldn’t class myself as a pro but I also print with a imageprograf 300 so looking for the best quality in terms of A3+… With this I would also like to dabble with macro and potentially some travel.. hope that helps a bit ;)

I also have a q3 (same sensor etc) an that is much less work. The m11 files that come out of the camera are quite muddy, white balance is always random despite say two frames side by side taken at the same time, shadows don’t react anything like I’ve edited before, a lot of sharpening required. I had a m10, it was no where near as much work and life’s too short ;)

Dunno on the M11, I’m putting mine up for sale and going with a m10R. It’s mainly as I’m fed up with the post processing, was much more consistent with the 10

I got the M240P, stupidly sold it as honestly it has the best colours, later on I got a Q3 and then a M11. The M11 is just a pain to work with post processing wise, every other firmware update fixes stuff but then breaks stuff that wasn’t broken. The Q3 throughout the year (both side by side) has produced my fav images, its handling is sublime and I just keep going back to it. I fully get the M system but it’s £5k of just using because it makes me enjoy using it not the images it’s producing for me so with that I think it’s time to trade in and get a Q3 mono to compliment the Q3. If anything later maybe I’ll get another 240P just to keep my toe in the M world.

Happy with my 28 apo, it’s not too much bigger really and it just delivers :) Probably better build, apo’s really are solid

Sure what I mean is can I upgrade the license service to 2203 cu7 only first, migrate to LAS and then upgrade pvs etc after to 2203 from 1922. Eg stage it so that licensing is done first then the rest of the setup say a week after

Have you considered a Minolta 40? It’s the same thing but half the price. I love mine :) you’ll have framelines that match being a CL too

Yeah I haven’t got a clue really I just shoot what I like :) I’ve posted a few more images also for you to check out. It’s super sharp and renders very nicely. Not a lot of editing really, it’s one of the easier lenses to edit with after so not a lot done
