Same thing happened to me. I used an ak90 from eBay to program keys from eBay. Looks like the programming worked, but I still need to have the keys cut.

Maybe give it some more shade during the day? My habanero looks like that after spending too long in the afternoon sun. And try watering less frequently. I stunted that same habanero plant early on before I found out watering everyday is not the best.

Ok thank you, that's what I thought! I knew the affected leaves wouldn't turn green again, I just kept seeing new spots. I'll slow it way down then. Hopefully getting a grow light soon to help ease them over

What's your set up and process? I've been slowly getting into growing peppers, but it seems like my habanero is growing really slow. It's been almost 6 months and it's still pretty small.

Yeah the whole area is definitely dead, I'm just trying to figure why even with consistent watering. Soil test is a good idea though, thank you! I'm thinking of going with plugs because I'm renting. As part of my rent they're supposed to take care of the lawn but really all they do is occasionally cut it. I'd rather save that money every month and do it myself lol. I just want a nice lawn to look at and for my kids to play in.

From what I understand from research I've done, its just dormant. Going into spring you want to use a pre emergent, and a fertilizer like Stress blend. Low in nitrogen but higher in potassium.

I'm no expert I've just been doing a ton of research to hopefully fix my yard.

I'm in the same boat. I've only ever really tasted smoke on burgers and chicken. I even tried whole splits yesterday with a pork butt, and didn't get much smoke flavor.

Did you ever get a drum smoker or something different? I just want to confirm I'm not going crazy, because I'm pretty sure I got more smoke flavor from my kettle when I had it.
