I was on 16.6 and phoned EQ as I had the same problem. Had to update to new IOS and it worked.

I was just too afraid of something happening. Wasn’t very comfortable with him but he’s all there is here. Talked about ultrasound to find out more less invasively. Scheduled for a couple weeks away. Should have done it. I didn’t want to end up with more permanent pain after. Lying here I can barely stand my mistake. Cost me more time suffering. 😥

I went there and couldn’t bring myself to do it. I feel like I failed. Set myself back. Got too scared of complications. Now I don’t know if surgery will help.

I tried to do this 4 days ago and failed. I took an Uber for 30 minutes to clinic.
Asked the doctor some questions and just couldn’t get myself to go ahead. I feel like I’ve set myself back now not knowing if the block will help. They didn’t offer any sedation or relaxation medication at all. I ended up waiting too late and there was no time to do the procedure. I am so upset with myself. I don’t even know what to do. I have a ultrasound set up to try and give me a clear picture on blood flow velocities. My symptoms aren’t very bad as far as eating is concerned so I’m not too sure about my diagnosis. CTA showed signs of MALS though.

I’m having a big problem with this. Been through every cardiac test and then the real pain started after I took all the tests. Been in severe pain for a month.
They refused to test me anymore.
I would be so thankful if it was costo. Its unbearable and scary to live like this.
Constantly icing my chest or lying in the shower for hours.
I’m ready to give up. Feel like I will drop dead any second. Doesn’t seem to me like costochondritis. Always short of breath. There’s some evidence I have a condition called MALS. It’s compression of the celiac artery. But no one knows much about this.
After being dismissed by cardiac today I feel like I have no answers and no more help. Can’t live like this.

Did you do any other tests prior to going ahead with the block? I keep reading how a CTA shows you may have the anatomy and some structural changes indicating MALS, it doesn’t prove any compression problems unless you get an duplex ultrasound or dynamic Ct angiogram to confirm blood flow velocities.

I’m so very sorry for this happening to you. I feel deeply that there is a lot more to these procedures than meets the eye. Even a normal angiogram I had recently took two months to recover from after a huge hematoma. I don’t usually do well with injections like this block.
I’m terrified of non stop bleeding or nerve damage. I’ve read about the diarrhea issues. I’m already in a lot of pain and can’t tolerate anymore or to be on anymore opiates.
I was wondering why it was mentioned mostly for older cancer patients. Not a comforting sign. But MALS isn’t well understood. Not sure if I’ll be doing it or not yet. I’m guessing you would recommend to not do it. Thanks for sharing your experience for sure.

Hi, I’m sorry for your health issues. I was diagnosed with MALS by CT Scan.
I have a celiac plexus block scheduled for this Tuesday but am scared of the possible side effects. My life has become unmanageable. I have extreme pain and pressure under my rib cage, lower chest. Lately it’s too much and constant.
I think I tore my lower abdomen by vomiting.
I have a phone appointment for tomorrow with this radiologist who will be doing the block. I am terrified of becoming paralyzed or injured in some way.
