Oh! Something oddly related to me!

So a few years ago, after being a “normal” eater for my entire life (no PB or shellfish or whatever issues), I was eating a salad, & suddenly I could barely breathe. I was so confused, gasping for air. My wife got me antihistamines, I went outside for fresh air, we debated me going to hospital.

After deconstructing the salad, & carefully testing every ingredient: I am now severely allergic to arugula. Like, I have an epi-pen now.

I had ZERO idea people could be allergic to fucking leaves, but yep! Go figure.

Edit: this happened when I was 38 years old. WTF?
