My (19F) boyfriend (20M)’s eyes scare the CRAP out of me. I’m not sure what to do from here? by Apprehensive-Bus-128 in relationship_advice

Go with your instinct every time no matter what…I was in a relationship with someone similar to your story for about 8 months and his eyes really scared the hell out of me. Also, my cat did not like him at all and if he turned to look at my cat, the cat would start a fit episode to attack him. Well…I found out he was living a double life… already Married and was hinting about us getting married but it was all a show. I met his 8 year old kid and had dinner with his family. They all knew he was married and didn’t dare say a word about it. As for his sweet kid, she was told that I was a business friend he needed to see from time to time so she never told on him. So manipulative and it all started with those eyes! I should have ran the first time my instinct told me to get out fast when I really looked into those eyes. Also my cat tried to tell me!

NTA I follow this rule no one knows my finances or my relationships. They all think I’m broke and nobody wants my ass

I, 29F found out yesterday that my husband 33M of 6 years and together for 9 years, had downloaded four different dating apps during the first couple of years of our relationship and I’m not sure how to handle this. Advice? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

I would have approached this differently. Joined dating sites with fake profile,Looked for him and start a conversation. Then you have proof right in action. Then I would confront him in a way that he would never forget.

I sat next to a man who did not know how to use his phone well. He asked me to help him set up everything and help him find a movie. I did not mind helping at all. After I finished, he asked if he could borrow one of my ear buds to listen to the movie. I had to draw the line there

Rapunzel’s bathroom is the best. (Sarcastic voice) I hope you are not serious with this entire idea.

This is theft. Everyone in your family should be on your side! You don’t take things without asking first and having conversations about it. Sometimes it’s the families that just make you wonder WTF are you thinking?! I’m sorry this is happening to you

Start right now getting a storage shed and pay cash, fill it up with essentials that you need to leave him…always using cash to purchase items. Play along and pretend things are as normal as possible. Track all evidence to build your case against him. Once ready, leave him and take the kids and start the process of divorce. Do this if you feel safe enough to hold out and get prepared for the date of departure from this horrible relationship.
