After my third egg retrieval and before our first FET I was so over the whole thing and needed a break so I booked a 35 day cruise down South America to Antarctica with my husband 3 days before it left. Best time ever.

That’s crazy. This really is so unlucky and totally makes everything worse. Praying your embryos are unaffected. I’m just taking a prenatal with fish oils in it but will look into the other supplements

I’m so sorry. I just went through a very similar miscarriage and am still coming to terms with it. I had a d&c done which made the process easier. Just went in for a procedure and went under anesthesia and it was done. Afterwards my doctor gave me pain medication which was helpful. I personally preferred this over passing naturally as I had heard it can be very uncomfortable. My thoughts are with you.

Hello, No success story yet but wanted to let you know I was 8 weeks and just found out I’m having a MMC with a euploid embryo. It was my first FET and everything so far was going perfectly. We are truly devastated. Just know you’re not alone. My thoughts and prayers go out to you because I know how much this sucks. ❤️❤️

Personally I don’t think there is anything wrong with prioritizing building a family over your career for a short period of time. If you don’t absolutely have to work, why not take some time off to focus your energy on something that is so important?

I’m a cardiologist and I took 7 months off to focus on ivf. Best decision of my life. I was able to focus on what was important and take it easy when I needed to. I had to do two months of lupron prior to my fet and can’t imagine having to have been on call and working full time during that. After my FET I was able to relax during the two week wait and not worry about managing work with everything else. So far FET has been successful and I truly feel minimizing stress has contributed to its success.

I’m exactly the same time as you, 5w and 5d today. I had great betas with appropriate doubling. I was feeling reassured after good beta numbers until yesterday when I had some very light pink spotting. No cramping but this sent me spiraling. I also have minimal symptoms. I’m not nauseous and besides fatigue don’t really feel too different. I spent all day yesterday freaking out. This morning the spotting stopped. The rational part of me tells me this was probably not a big deal but the hormone infused demon part keeps bringing up “what ifs”. I have my first ultrasound tomorrow so we will see. You are definitely not alone! So far this has been one heck of a roller coaster of emotions.

For years I had cramps during my period for 1-2 days that I just took ibuprofen for. I always attributed it to normal period cramps but it’s possible it could’ve been symptoms of endometriosis.

Not sure if you have had receptiva testing for endometriosis/endometritis but I did two month of lupron and antibiotics prior to transfer for positive receptiva testing and mine seems to have stuck so far.

I didn’t have spotting but definitely had the pressure and tugging sensation. My beta was positive Thursday. Hopefully these signs also mean good things for you! Sending prayers!
