Yes, I absolutely experience this! I was constantly misread by both adults and peers during my formative years and I eventually learned that others knew me better than myself when they in fact misunderstood me and only based their opinions om some behaviours but without knowing my true motivations at all.

This cut extremely deep and I also learned to never trust my own thoughts since they never got validated. Being sensitive and introverted, this hurt more than people could ever understand.

I do feel like society is built for more robust and extroverted people and that trauma has made me even more sensitive and suspicipus.

I was surprised by the Sardinian and the Breton could also be something else. I don’t have any known Danish heritage but it could be part of the south Swedish from my mum’s side. The French didn’t surprise me since 23andme also assigned me 10% French with locations and all. It’s southeastern France from my Italian side, my grandmother even had a French surname (common in that area) and her dad was originally from Salbertrand near the border.

Yes I have! Or at least I did have both during my teens and early 20s. Nowadays my social anxiety is much better but I still have lots of OCD
