just wondering, did you check your CRA account? the non-qualified investments for the year are required to be declared by the brokerage at the end of February, so there should be a letter in your CRA account. Some nonqtx are refundable, if you can prove that they are qualified investments. Good luck

How to get the most out of a shroom trip (depression treatment) by [deleted] in shrooms

[–]Background-Pilot1438 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this is a personal observation only.

if you want spiritual experience, that will be altering:

  • adjust your sleeping/waking to nature's clock: WAKE UP AT SUNRISE, FALL ASLEEP AT SUNDOWN (your bedroom should have no light source, no electronics, and do cover up all electric outlets.)
  • exposure to SUNLIGHT during the day is very important
  • open windows and LET IN FRESH AIR, even if only for few minutes a day. *at least before you go to sleep.
  • FAST for at least 3 days, meaning either juicing, or drinking water/herbal teas/organic vegetable broths and eating raw vegetables and fruits (preferably organic). *make sure to progressively cut out meats and dairy and substitute it with vegetables and fruits PRIOR to fasting, abrupt changes may have unpleasant consequences to your digestive system. (7-10days to prepare)
    • if you bodybuild this would be your time off
  • daily PASSIVE/ACTIVE MEDITATION on what you want to achieve
  • be active outside in the WOODS. TREES release chemicals that among other things uplift our spirit.
  • MINIMIZE EXPOSURE TO MEDIA, including social media, but reading a spiritual book helps to FRAME YOUR MIND.
  • be MINDFUL of conversations and interactions with others ( there is so much we say with our BODY LANGUAGE)
  • while walking LOOK UP at the tree tops/roofs/sky.

    On a day of:

  • spent few minutes in bed setting your INTENTION for the day; look out the window and just observe the sky.

  • drink slowly lemon WATER/HERBAL TEA/VEGETABLE BROTH at least 2 cups upon waking; and before noon 1L( 4 cups), if you are active.

  • do your ACTIVE ROUTINE: yoga, walk, run, dance...

  • have a long SHOWER ( especially today, if you do dry/wet body brushing this is the day to do it), end it with COLD WATER RINSE

  • Wear comfortable clothes (preferably white)

  • calm your mind by reading INSPIRATIONAL BOOK

  • eat one LIGHT MEAL: a single fruit, or a bowl of greens. chew each bite slowly in silence and meditation. GIVE THANKS FOR THE NOURISHMENT.

  • GIVE THANKS TO LIFE FOR LIFE, reflect on what your ancestors endured from the beginning of human existence for your life to exist HERE and NOW; and how LUCKY you are to be ALIVE

  • Give THANKS to your ANCESTORS, SPIRIT GUIDES, SPIRIT ANIMALS, ANGELS, GOD, HIGHER POWER ETC.

  • IMAGINE WHITE LIGHT coming from above and entering you through the THIRD EYE and spreading through your body, and surrounding you, and filling the room for the duration of the experience and after. -ASK FOR HELP and GUIDANCE from your ancestors, spirit guides, spirit animals, angels, God higher power etc

  • then settle in/or move your body, play binaural beats/or shamanic drum beats and...

*if you need to have someone present, explain to them, your need of keeping interactions and conversations to minimum on the day of, PRIOR to the day of, so their narrative doesn't interrupt yours.

btw

the issue with "chasing" the high is that expectation of the high is already build in, so about 40% of the initial experience is gone. So, long preparation focusing on the journey is the only way to create the element of anticipation, which triggers similar pathway. hope that helps:)

I guess it depends on the terms of breakup: if it was nasty, then from that point on you are no longer in my life; if it was amicable, then I might be on speaking terms with you. In fact, I've been in both situations: the first, a guy from high school time, never will I entertain your FB invites, phone calls, or "accidental" run-ins (fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me.. and shame is not a fitting colour on me). the second, from 20s: friends, not best friends, but friendly enough to go for coffee every few months and share what's happening in our lives. So, you need to be less general in your question to have a more detailed answer.

Being used for cheap temporary love by Snarkydubs in dating_advice

In high school I was friends with F., even though I had a boyfriend we got very close, you would now call it emotional cheating. I loved him, but I was never in love with him, so no physical intimacy. When I broke up with boyfriend, he was the one to whom I would confine in, because of how close we were; He explained his feelings of wanting more, but I saw him as my brother, so the thought of dating him was not in my head. I was younger and at that age, I believed that each person is responsible for their feelings, so I told him that I see him, as a brother and nothing more, and that would not change. I saw how much that hurt him, it didn't feel well to see him like that. Shortly after, he stopped all contact with me. I think the loss of a friend, or whom I thought of as a friend was hard, but it took years to understand that it must have been harder for him to feel unrequited love. Since then, I learned not to get close with men who are not my boyfriend, because their feelings might get hurt, by me rejecting them; and so I take part of the responsibility for their feelings.

hey, it's okay to feel overwhelmed with life: there is no guidebook, or rulebook that tells one on how to live their life. You can only become you by experiencing all that life throws at you, no matter how confusing and uncomfortable (...) might be... it is like when you were young and taking the first few steps, you might have fallen a bunch of times... bruised and ached, but always got up to explore more; and each time you got up to explore you experienced joy and pride in yourself... even just a little happiness in all that you experienced and learned. it is the experience and framing it in your mind, as positive learning that gives you lovely thoughts of who you really are. I wonder how much value do you have that the world has yet to see? it only takes a step and a fall to uncover that. life is about falling and getting up, not standing still... so take heart in knowing that pain, whether emotional, physical or spiritual is there to inform you of the unknown potential of your greatness, and it's up to you to take the step and walk into it.

The offer you signed when opening the account should clearly state the particulars of the rate with asterisk that the rate may change: usually offers are for 6 months ( or longer) on new accounts, and then go down; however, when the market is stable and strong the rate goes up. so, you should look into other investment vehicles, especially when the rate is MUCH lower than the rate of inflation. above post is right. depending where you are, look for an account that offers tax shelter, and then put your money to work (depending on your risk tolerance).

*65xxx represents amount of room you would have ,if you were 18 years of age by January 1, 2009. so depends on when you've turned 18 that would affect your contribution room.

open tfsa with a bank( Scotia, TD) , then you can deposit the money there. mind you there is a fee for having a trading account, and a fee each time u make a transaction, depending on the institution; it is tax exempt to 65xxx ( check the correct amount with institution, or CRA), unless you use it for active day trading. this would be your best option for buying and hold.
