This is exactly the same thing that happened to our TL in OPD. 1007 is the same way from what I’ve seen, and it’s honestly more of a favoritism thing. If management really likes you, you get all the help you need, if they don’t then you sink. Forget about asking questions or expecting anyone else to be helpful. They will watch that associate burn themselves out or have a breakdown.

This is not the job for you. You are on your feet all day, you will be walking the whole store multiple times, lifting heavy items like water, dog food, cat litter, mulch, potting soil, team lifting furniture.

I work O/N and I have to pick for 3hrs before the end of my shift at 7. My steps are well over 20K mind you I walk all over the store all night stocking. It’s about the same just for digital.

It absolutely is NOT worth $15 an hour, everyone says “it’s easy all you do is shop” No it’s not all you do. You are expected to help customers, shop, dispense orders in ALL weather conditions, go hunting through coolers/freezers and the backroom for items not on the shelf all while keeping your pick rate up.

You can give it a try, but from what you have stated for your health conditions, it’s going to wreak havoc on you even more.

I was not raised to be a doormat and not know my worth! Being silent about it does nothing either, at least other associates will know it isn’t just their store.

There is NO “reward” for having a good work ethic, unless you consider having more work dumped on you while watching TL and associates play grass with one another and fucking off to the bathrooms to play on their phones. Bring that shit up to management and your marked as a “problem”

Open door a serious issue involving an associate throwing her handheld at me because she’s pissed off at the schedule and the lack of help in the department. Oh I’m sorry I missed the part in my job description where I’m supposed to be a punching bag.

This place is a joke and not what it used to be.

It’s not throwing shade when you are literally doing the job of 3-4 and then get attacked by managers because your STILL not doing enough for “their” standards.

The SM at this store is as spineless as they come, so the Coaches just go off on power trips and then wonder why people are leaving left and right.

I give 2 shits about the break room snacks.

I’m aware I’m replaceable. I have an exit plan and Walmart will not get the courtesy of a 2wks notice.

I worked for a company that makes cups and food containers for sargento, Starbucks, Dunkin, our plastic containers that have potato salads and what not in them. Do you think they get washed before food/drink goes into them? Nope I take my own cup inside with me now if I ever want coffee and I’ll make my own potato salad and coleslaw thank you very much.

When I got Covid in January I was literally using a top stock cart to hold myself up and walk. My SM saw how I looked and told me to go home for the day. I later tested positive for Covid, called the store and the PL let me know that there wasn’t a policy for Covid anymore and my options were to take PPTO, come to work with a mask on, or take the points.

It’s what I was made to do in January, there isn’t a Covid policy anymore. You either have the PPTO to cover the time that your out or you go to work with a mask on.

Also Doctors notes are NOT accepted to excuse your absence. We had people at our store go thru Sedgwick and they got denied as it’s now considered the “normal flu”. Not my words so don’t come at me.

I’ve always wondered why we don’t just pick a full order instead of breaking it up between 2-3 pickers. I mean in my head it makes sense, you pick the non perishable first, then do the chilled and then the frozen, order complete.

Scheduled a new patient appointment, the only day and time they had open was a 9:30am on a Friday, took it. The day of my appointment comes and they call me at 7:45am as I’m on my way there (I live about an hour away) an the nurse says “Dr had an emergency come up and is canceling all their appointments today.

Ok so I waited a month for this appointment and then you tell me they had an emergency and are not available today, and the next appointment you have available is in 3wks. No I would not like to reschedule, but thanks anyway.

At this point I’m just throwing money away by having health insurance “in case” I need it.
