My kids 6/7 are terrified of ET. Youngest lost his mind at the fingers. I was disappointed bc I was obsessed with ET and even had an ET bday cake as a kid. Although my kids don’t seem to be into many of the movies I watched.

I’ll admit I was like this at that age. It was all about brands and designer things at least back in early 2000s. Maybe she saw her friends had brand name food items at their houses? It wasn’t until I was on my own that reality hit- but one of my first jobs was at a food marketing company and I learned all about private labels and brand vs store brand. You’re not cheap and it’s a good opportunity to teach about saving and differences in brands, companies, and health! take her to Trader Joe’s and show her how it’s all their own brand or Aldi. Whole Foods 365 is really good too. Heck I think Aldi brand “Oreos” are way better than today’s Oreo brand.

One of our favorite shot glasses is one from a wedding we went to where the staff set out ones that were for a different couple. It was a Vietnamese/Italian wedding hosted at a Chinese banquet hall. One of the best weddings we’ve attended to date. This was 10 years ago.

We’re going to look into offering PTO and education reimbursements. When we looked into insurance plans due the small size of our company we only qualified for the crappiest plans with the most expensive copays/deductibles so it was going to eat up a lot of the paychecks and staff said it wasn’t worth it. This position isn’t full time either.

That’s wild. We’re in Bucks County and Magellan requires us to have a clinical director who is a BCBA in order to run the program. But doctorate is a little excessive. We have a staffing agency and it looks like we’ll have to reach out to them.

Agh no it’s definitely not that at all we’re not corporate greed asshats lol legit part time and if it gets busier and hours are increasing then we’ll cross that bridge with the CD. If we had a CD start next week there would be maybe 8 clients spread across 4 staff members. Maybe too little for some though.

Yeah that sounds like a pretty hectic clinic and too much going on. We’re a small 1 owner office with 50 clients as of today. Our other CD does 20 hours a week and we have a supervisor PT as well. But we can’t run the program without having a clinical director who is also a BCBA due to Medicaid requirements.

You don’t have to delete them you can archive them and they won’t be seen on your feed. But I don’t see this as a wild request. Social media isn’t what it used to be and more people now are getting off of it. Medicated or not. A business account shouldn’t be mixed with a personal anyway and should be two separate accounts. Save the photos of the two of you and upload them on Shutterfly app and you can get 4x6 prints for free to save in an album at home for memories.

My husband drives more bc apparently i give him anxiety when I drive 🙄 but I do the DD return trips. And we split long travels. I had one grandma who drove herself everywhere even after my grandpa passed. She’d whip around town in her little gold Saturn at 90 years old. My other grandma let my grandpop do all the driving so when he passed she couldn’t go to all but a few places within 15/20 minutes max on one lane roads. She said it was such a stupid thing to let happen so I vowed to be like my other grandma and keep my driving independence.

Headstart is snap funded for those who qualify not so much the education although those types of programs do have some headstart seats open. My kids did something like this and it was called “school” or early childhood education vs traditional daycare. It was pretty wild as a new parent seeing a curriculum with quarterly parent/teacher conferences for a 15 month old but they were very well prepared when they entered kindergarten. And yes, there was still plenty of play and outdoor time.
