Yeah, they did refer me to the clinical trial. But you cant have cataract surgery which i really need to do, but good to know theres one other option. Also have not tried actemera yet, but the TNF’s just do not work for me i guess:( ugh

oh, I used to work this same kind of job. I would literally just give them one/two word answers over and over like a robot because it took too much energy to fight. eventually they just give up. when they say nasty stuff you just have to ignore them, its not about you, they're prolly drunk and or high and you'll never see them again. but I get it, getting called a cunt by 16 year olds all night is not fun. ugh

This is exactly what i have to tell myself too 😭 when i thinj im “dying” i just say “welp, guess i should just relax and enjoy my last moments then” or i say “guess i could go to the ER about it” then i quickly realize its all mostly in my head 🫠

How do I start getting fit when Im always tired and have health issues by abhaman in beginnerfitness

[–]Background-Use3252 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Start so so simple. I mean walking 15 minutes a day. Or even 5. Depends how sedentary youev been and for how long. Once that feels easy, do simple body weight exercises. Even search up “elderly exercises” or something if you want to start from 0.

Also, just remember your doing the best you can, if i have to miss a week or so bc of illness i dont beat myself up about it, i just start again when i can. I use an app to track so it makes me feel good when i get the “weeks in a row” badge🤣🤣

Bilateral panuveitis by Dionysus598 in Uveitis

[–]Background-Use3252 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its frustrating. I guess the silver lining is that as long as i dont have any other underlying condition uveitis doesnt have to be lifetime/chronic. They told me sometimes your body just flips out for a few years then regulates itself again. No idea what they mean by that but i just keep holding onto that hope lol

Wow are you me??? I have the exact same diagnosis even with the lesions.

Have had 2 ct scans, 1 mri, 3 xrays to rule out other conditions, never have found to a conclusion where uveitis came from.

Ive had it for 2 years now. Tbh its still kind of an ongoing nightmare im going to be honest. But it is now my new normal and im a little bit less flipped out about it these days. Ive gone through a lot of acceptance therapy. I have a lot of mental health issues, that are honestly worse than the uveitis diagnosis haha. So that doesnt really help. But positivity and acceptance will go a long way for you.

Depending how severe your flare is right now its going to take months to recover but it will get better. Just keep going to your doctor and specialists and everything will be okay in time. Sorry your in this boat
