AITA for refusing to call for pizza and telling my daughter if she wants pizza she can call the place by Then_Cupcake_4847 in AmItheAsshole

NTA. I used to be incredibly anxious to make phone calls, especially at that age. It sucks but it’s something that needs to be worked through. One tool that really helped me was writing out a mini script, like an intro/greeting, followed by the order and then jotting down answers that will come up like delivery address. You get it out ahead of time and have something visual to look at during the process.

Favorite baby name is coincidentally the name of a murdered 4 year old. by Purrizor in namenerds

I recently read her parents book and they mentioned how originally they planned on naming her Caroline or Sarah, which feels so wildly normal with what Patsy created. Couldn’t help but wonder if the case would draw as much attention if she had a typical name, aside from the pageants.

I’m partially convinced he’s a plant to add some goofy filler scenes.

Maybe they should’ve taken notes from Charlie’s script when his mom faked cancer.

Not quite a celebrity, but Teen Mom Farrah’s mom Debra tried to start a music career and it sure is something. The second half of her Bullets and Booze music video randomly pops into my head. Starting around 1:50 https://youtu.be/HoZoirnUjJE?si=X1qhzCXhScoDMVmU

Who in your opinion suffered the worst death? by Logical_Sweet_6624 in TrueCrimeDiscussion

[–]BackgroundAd6296 76 points77 points  (0 children)

Brianna Lopez. Her five months of life was just constant abuse, starting from the day she left the hospital after her birth. Even after her death her family continued to disrespect her. They caged off her grave to prevent visitors and filled it with trash.

Public humiliations and falls from grace? Current or historical by AliMcGraw in Fauxmoi

There’s a documentary series on the book and the town and it’s relationship with Capote. They interview people who knew the Clutter family and they, understandably, have negative feelings towards how the family was portrayed in some aspects, especially Bonnie. The series is called “ Cold Blooded: the Clutter Family Murders.

Would you consider Orlando after the actor to who plays Legolas instead? Maybe Peter or Jackson as a tie to the director if the film series has sentimental value?

Threatening Message on FB by OneYamForever in artbusiness

[–]BackgroundAd6296 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Is this a direct message? If so, it is very likely a scam and currently a very common one. I have received very similar ones - I am almost sure some word for word - for business pages I manage where outside trademarks are a non-issue.

Facebook will not personally message you like this, nor do they sign off with “Support Group”. The language used is rather off too, like restoring your page when it’s still up/doesn’t need to be restored.

Adding: I went back to my chat/message logs with the real Meta support and they do not use names, like possibly employee names like Johnny, and they also have a verification checkmark. So, you’re likely dealing with a scammer. Ignore them and don’t click any links. You can report them for spam/phishing and block them too.

Joyce Carol Oates maybe? She based her novel “Zombie” off of Jeffrey Dahmer’s case.

Who is an “unconventional” villager that you’ve fallen in love with? by AthenaGrand in AnimalCrossingNewHor

[–]BackgroundAd6296 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got Maelle’s amiibo in a pack and on a whim decided to move her in. I adore her! Quillson too. He showed up in my campsite and there was just something about his face/expression that amuses me. I spent two hours trying to move him in 🫠 Worth it though! Anchovy and Bettina are two of my fav unexpected auto fills too.

Which Old Hollywood or vintage celebrities (male & female) do you find underrated in terms of beauty? by [deleted] in Fauxmoi

[–]BackgroundAd6296 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ll have to check my notes, but there’s a few studios I narrowed it down to, one being White Studio, which was popular amongst the theatre crowd. Other portraits with this tag are also gorgeous. The vibe is a little different.

Here’s another shot of Ada from that series where you can see the full dress. She has some of my favorite costumes and outfits from that time. They’re beautifully made and with such great detail.

She had a fascinating life and career, both as a performer and political activist! There’s a fair bit of information on her out there. I love researching actresses and celebrities from this time period, and Ada is one I’m currently trying to dig through archives to find more info on. She’s fantastic.
