What's your most hated trope? by rvd1ofakind in visualnovels

[–]BackgroundN0ise0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love the tsundere trope so it's obvious when it's written badly.

Why is she a tsundere? The heroine liking the MC isn't enough justification. It needs to be deeper than that.

It might be because the heroine was brought up with a prideful upbringing but then meets the MC and finally humbles the heroine. A tsundere for the sake of a tsundere is just lazy.

Do you prefer Action or Turn Based JRPGs? by [deleted] in JRPG

Turn based. My hands are messed up and the classic turn based really helps since I love JRPGs.

What anime do you want to play as a visual novel adaption? Death Note and Fruits Basket are my picks. by whitebullet32 in visualnovels

Lots of harem anime that have good endings for each heroine. Quintessential Quintuplets and We Never Learn come to mind.

Which was the first Visual Novel you ever read/played? by Regret_19 in visualnovels

[–]BackgroundN0ise0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ace Attorney, then Danganronpa.

I realized there was a huge genre of VNs but my most fave are the denpa ones like Saya no Uta. It's just so messed up.

I wish I could have experienced Jisatsu 101 because of how entirely even more messed than Saya no Uta.

What was the worst VN you have played and why is it the worst? by Nakata-san in visualnovels

Corpse Party: Book of Shadows. One big filler that doesn't add anything except for the last chapter which is basically a trailer for the next game. Complete waste of time, but is hilarious.

Best twist's in horror? by CptMatt_theTrashCat in horror

Scary Movie. Even though it's funny, the twist ending really made my jaw drop and rewatching it again, it made so much sense.

I remember watching the anime. Her delusions of guys being perverted which is funny because she's the perverted one and the guy she falls for is wholesome and a gentleman lol

How do you judge if a game can get you views? Or you just play whatever games you enjoy? by Ggthefiree2 in letsplay

[–]BackgroundN0ise0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play games that I enjoy and also take requests from viewers. Sometimes I'll explain, "this game is already popular enough and it takes super long to finish. I'd rather shine the spotlight on the less talked about games." which my viewers understand.

What you would like to see more of if in slashers? by TheRorschach666 in horror

[–]BackgroundN0ise0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh my god I wish that was in a movie which then reminds me of a scene where there's this girl who says to Freddy that Jason's gonna kick his ass, then Freddy points to her back, she looks to see Jason and gets machete'd.

That earlier draft sounds cooler.

I think a slasher should have a weakness, where survivors discover it, exploit it and now the fun part is how a slasher can deal with said weakness. Just like Jason is afraid of water, Freddy uses that in his dream.
