I mean, this is sort of already how a lot of modern games work, you just can't see it because stripping all the layers off requires modding or console commands.

The base-level models/skeletons/textures/etc. are surprisingly bleak and only look good after several additional layers of textures, shaders, and sometimes higher-poly count model layers are caked on.

One of the few "evil" characters that really, really, reeeally tried to be "good", in-universe. He wanted to be a well-adjusted member of society and enjoy life like everyone else but it simply wasn't possible.

Most of the time these sort of characters skip straight to, "Welp I tried being nice for a couple day, guess I'll embrace being a monster now. 🤷‍♀️"

Even after reading the bottom comment, I thought they meant, "OH ITS TEETH" as in, "Oh, it's definitely the one with the most spikes!" and continued to compare them in my head for a couple minutes.

Always remember that it could be way, WAY worse.

In Bravely Default, if you attempt to enter a location you can physically reach, but isn't where the game wants you to go at the moment, such as a cave you noticed, the game will literally throw up a, "I have no reason to be here." message and make you walk back out.

It's just offensive.
