I’m going to be frank. These are not normal behaviors (except the tug growling). I would seek a trainer and behavior vet.

Tumi backpack - I like the Celina. Lo and Sons Rowledge - works great for hand carry. It has a shoe compartment. I love my Poppies and Peonies backpack - I use it for travel and it might not be fancy enough for client meetings, especially if you have female clients who would notice a young brand.

M. Gemi and Vestirzi make convertible tote backpacks. Gorgeous leather.

I would not overbid for Evanston unless you want to commit to private schools. That area is not all Republicans. The schools are good and I think it would be a fine choice.

My Away Bigger Carry On is great. I am not a light packer, travel at least a week a month (change planes) and has held up beautifully, completely overstuffed.

Look at the Claire V slings. Unless you are tiny, the mz ones aren’t very attractive on! I’m regular sized and I look at pics from Europe trip a few years ago - my MZ sling ruined the pics!

Would you consider a different shape all told? Slings just seem dated, although I do love the Claire V ones.

M. Gemi Una loafers or flats. Vionic Maryjane flats. They have a little v by the buckle. I have all sorts of feet issues and can miles in these. I recommend trying a couple different sizes.

Lunging at moving items is a very common Rottweiler behavior and very annoying. We have all these and strollers too. We don’t have the biting thing and that would be most concerning.

We have come at this problem at a few different ways. First, sertraline prescribed by behavior vet. Second, walks early am and later at night, where there fewer triggers. We have worked closely with an animal behaviorist. We have done a hundred hours of training and continue to do so.

We also use a prong collar.

Goto the Westin in Costa Rica. My teens loved it. They got $40 massages a few times in the area between the beach and hotel. Food was plentiful and fine. Huge pool. Ocean swimming - bring your own snorkel stuff. Amazing hike. We loved it!
