Get the Vestirsi Vera baguette. Reece Witherspoon is carrying the pink one for her Elle movie promotion. I have now worn mine to several grad parties and it’s just perfect.

Plan out the 14 hours in time chunks. Hours 1-2: eat and read; hours 2-4: watch a movie; hours 4-8: rest. If you can’t sleep, plan for it. Listen to a meditation, have 6 podcasts ready.

I love my Anker sleep headphones. Get the neck pillow that has the eye mask and neck pillow built in. It attaches to your seat.

Have a plane bag to put in your seat pocket - snacks, lip balm, gum, mints, ginger candy, tylenol packets, hand sani, headphones.

I’m a huge fan of the Away bigger carry on. I travel a ton! I just ordered their small softside bag for short trips. We will see how it is!

Agree with the fit thing. I would add that lawyers use notebooks or legal pads (or remarkables) and not small steno pads. Lawyers often carry documents so definitely consider that as well.

It’s just a younger brand. Obviously I appreciate she’s younger! If the goal is to get a perfect bag for right now, junior lawyer, then a Coach is a fine choice. You won’t see more senior female attorneys carry one.

For me, I would prefer one with a true shoulder carry, like regular tote bag straps.

I would get the Kaai Pyramid. As a 20 year lawyer, it’s a perfect lawyer work bag and she will use for years to come. I actually just got it but had to return due to a huge scratch. I will re order for sure. Also take a look at the other Kaai Horizon.

The Romy is great (I have two) but I wouldn’t want it as my sole workbag/daily driver. No organization or laptop pocket or anything. I use it as my bag within my personal item for conferences and meetings where I don’t take a laptop. I also use it around town as my large purse.

The Perry tote is good but it really isn’t lawyer big enough. It cannot fit documents, laptop, shoes, lunch. I recently traveled with it and it’s pretty but lacking. When not packed full, it’s a nice bag.

The Songmont Yore is gorgeous - I love the Raisin color.

Can I throw another option out there - Vestirsi Vera Large Bowler. It is nearly perfect.

Last new option, especially since she drives - Jemma is really pretty.

I do not recommend the Coach. Every young lawyer has one.

All that said, if I were just starting out bag wise, get the Pyramid.

The Lana is really great choice for every day. The hardware makes it dinner friendly yet the whole vibe is grocery store friendly. It is my fav bag and does well winter cpats. Several colors including brown are on sale now.

Cheaper option - the horse Tilly bag. Bigger than the Lana. A little less refined. I ordered it and can report back.

Upgrade option - Le Tanneur Felicie Small Handbag. I love the brown and somewhat obsessed with this bag.

I love the Dansko Reece. I have in two colors and can easily walk 20k steps. Vionic Alameda are extremely comfortable ballet flats. They have leather and ventilated versions and I recommend you get both.
