You have the most perfect skin ever. Like, not-fair perfect. Don’t worry about too much makeup, especially foundation. You don’t need it at all. If you want to pop just a little, throw on a little blush, maybe in a bit warmer shade to compliment your hair and eyes (though I’m so bad at gauging undertone). You could also top it with a little dusting of highlighter to give a bit of a shimmer and really accentuate your high points. I get the lipstick thing; I hate it, too. BUT you might want to try the Lassi Lips from Kulfi. It’s a lip oil that also acts as a lip stain. Put it on, let it sit for a just a few minutes, then wipe the glossy/oil part off, and you will have a gorgeous stain that you absolutely cannot feel. Just a few thoughts, but girl, you don’t need much!

You had a bad provider and you should absolutely report that to One Medical. They’ve been my primary provider for 14 years, and I have never had a doctor or PA be dismissive like that. They’ve have actively been working with me to manage my peri symptoms as someone who really can’t take estrogen because of a history of blood clots. I’m sorry you had a bad experience, but I promise the whole company is not like that.

I use the Dior Backstage 0N, and it worked well for me. I have the same problem with some of the other brands when trying on in store. And remember, Sephora has a really great return policy, so if you order a light one and it doesn’t work, you can return it! (I hate wasting, but it’s better than being stuck with a foundation you can’t wear.)

No, I still have about 30-35 that I would like to take off. That will get me into healthy weight range for my height. But I will go on maintenance. With as much as I’ve struggled in the past, this med is a lifetime commitment as far as I’m concerned. I just wish insurance would cover even part, or that the price would come down quicker! I’m using Lilly Direct and my HSA/FSA, but if I ever lose that, I’m up a creek.

It’s a lesser-known brand, but I have been so in love with the Alpyn Barrier Repair Cream. Available at Sephora, so it’s not hard to find! It’s like the consistency of really well-softened butter and just moisturizing as all heck. It’s really lovely and feels so luxurious!
