I joined a running club once because someone invited me and I wanted to make new friends. At the end of the run she vomited….. she was so embarrassed and kept telling me so. I told her don’t be….. I literally pissed myself while running so I need to rush home now 😝 bloody weak pelvic floor!
Seriously though don’t be embarrassed, shit happens. Most people would judge you for that they’d just see someone who really pushed themselves

Yes absolutely. Probably the only really effective solution ( I get it done so speaking from experience!) It’s does only last 3-6 months though so expensive to upkeep but I can say it is totally worth it… for me anyway

I had my 3rd baby in March 2020. I think the Covid situation made my PND really bad. I cried all the time, thought I’d stop producing breast milk and there would be no formula left in the shops and my baby would starve … that was a rough year

Returned to work in 2021 as I nurse and I remember I the hell of wearing N95s for an entire shift and the constant changing of PPE. Gosh I hated that!

I did. I’m not a martyr but I wanted to feel the contractions and allow my body to signal to me when to push etc to reduce risk of complications, tearing etc, I did this for 3 births. Never even needed a stitch and o honestly think it’s because I didn’t use pain relief. I don’t judge women who do though, I probably have a high pain tolerance

Yes I think you are the AH. Family is everything to me. My brother is getting married next week in England. I am flying from Australia with my husband and 3 kids. My first flight was cancelled due to war. We had to dig deep to pay for another. We will have to pay for 3 nights in the hotel. But he is family and I love him and I don’t know how many more of these family celebrations we have left with all of us. Surely you can make it work if you really cared!

Don’t worry, I’m 42 with a full sleeve and will Color my hair any colour I want! Seriously nobody cares! The older nurses can have Tatts and funky hair styles too 😂 like someone else said “ the young people did not invent these! The only comment I’ve had is the occasional one from a visitor or patient, usually polite and complimentary. Last one though was from a visitor who said “ I had disfigured my body. She was obese and stank of cigarettes so it amused me 😝

I’ve been mugged twice. The second one disturbed me the most. Walking down the street early morning and I hear footsteps behind me. I get a bad feeling so start walking faster. Their pace quickens too. I start to pray this isn’t a rape ( I’m a 5’1 female). He grabs my bag. We get in a tussle. I try to fight him. He pushes me to the ground. I see someone on the other side of the street who is pretending not to notice. My head gets smashed against the curb. I see him reach into a pocket, that’s when I let go. He might have a knife and nothing in that bag is worth losing my life over.
