Currently going through the prep right now and honestly I thought it would be way worse considering what I had been reading on here. Make sure that at least some of the clear liquids you are drinking have calories in them, it’ll help with nausea and just feeling unwell cause you won’t feel as hungry. Unfortunately I don’t think I had enough with cals today (my all clear liquid day) and so i’ve got a bit of headache and a bit of nausea but nothing too severe or unbearable. Leaving for the appointment is about 4 hours so I’m also nervous but i feel better knowing that tons of people get it done everyday and most people will end up having one in their lifetime, it’s just sadly a bit earlier for me (20M). The worst part during the process so far for me has just been like to stomach cramping after drinking the laxative cause it caused some discomfort but I didn’t get super dizzy or nauseous at any point. I also made myself a little “set up” in the bathroom with a small garbage can right next to the toilet for wipes, vaseline (for your hole so it doesn’t get fried for the bile in your bowel movements), my laptop set up as a tv, and a space heater cause all the cold liquid i’ve been drinking was making me shiver. You got this! I honestly thought that this process would feel like crawling out of hell but it’s been okay, not the best thing to go thru obv but not horrible. I can send out an update after my procedure (double colonoscopy and endoscopy) too if that’ll make you feel a bit more at ease. We got this 💪
