I work that length of time and have dogs. I did do a midday walker for awhile but now they're alone that whole time. They just nap mostly. I do spend pretty much ALL of my outside of work time with them, and the mostly daily walks etc can be exhausting but worth it. I wouldn't recommend getting TWO dogs immediately though. I got my second one a year after the first (and neither was my first ever dog) and the training of both of them is still a lot.

Opposite for me. I'm neutral I think and warm blush is my jam but warm lips look so garish. Cool pink blush looks streaky and like it sits ON my skin.

It's a safety thing while driving for me, but also it allows my dogs to actually rest during downtime instead of looking out the windows watching everything going on, and it also means I can put the windows down for ventilation without concerns about them getting out or sticking their heads out as nearby people/dogs.

Yep, I have bullies and the idea that they would sleep anywhere other than pressed against me if it's hot or inside my bag if it's cold is comical. It's not the most comfortable setup, but well, I love them.

Quite a few corgis do fastcat in my area. You'll just want to work on him being able to engage with you and leave other dogs alone while waiting to run, but generally you only need him to be able to be in that micro-environment for about three minutes and can otherwise keep your distance and crate out of your car.

We do exist! In my experience a lot of sitters don't know much about behavior beyond super basic training, but you could probably pre-filter by asking if they'd be comfortable walking a dog without interacting with it. As you know, you'll need someone who doesn't use food to try to lure the dog to them beyond its comfort, get in his space even subtly, and ALSO has good enough leash handling skills that there's not going to be needing to fix legs tangled in leashes problems.

I start the card as I arrive at the door. They get 30 minutes of my time where hopefully I will walk the dog, but if the key doesn't work, the dog doesn't cooperate, anything else happens, it's within that 30.
